Good food. Nice menu. I had veal parm. It had too much breading on it but was very good. Maybe a little salty. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. The dining room was very loud. Almost noisy.

Second time at Johnny D's Market & Bistro.
The first time I had a good meal. This time around it was disappointing,
I had Lasagna, it was burned. The guy across the aisle also had it and I could tell from the difficulty he had cutting through the bottom layer that it was also burned. It was a long wait for the food and the server said it was because the lasagna was taking too long. I wished she would have offered an alternative dish.

I’m sorry to give this sad review. This used to be such a wonderful restaurant, however the last few times we were here, service extremely slow. We waited almost 30 min for our waitperson to take a drink order . Once we ordered our food it came out quickly however , by then we had eaten all the bread and Drank all our drinks. Sadly, dining at Johnny D’s was not a pleasurable evening .We think not enough staff. Food was ok. Will give it another try but they’re now on our probation list

Needs improvement. It’s all there, but the subs are never assembled right. The bread for the Italian sub is too small to have a hinge and everything leaks out the side. Can’t have oil and vinegar with the bread that small. That’s happened to me twice. I got the Ceasar wrap today and the grade should be “incomplete.” The wrap wasn’t, well, wrapped. As you can see, it fell apart the moment I opened the paper and the sides weren’t tucked in properly. It’s not rocket science.

Everything about this place is SPECTACULAR! The location, space, food, drink, service, and deli. I would give it 10 stars if I could. We met some friends there for dinner and drinks. They offer specials, in addition to, regular menu item’s. I say that because my choice was off the specials menu. With your meal, you get salad and bread. The ingredients to every single dish were fresh, where every bite was packed with savory deliciousness! Our friend does not eat pasta and the kitchen accommodated their dish swapping out pasta with a bed of spinach. Food is made fresh not sitting in a drawer or under a heat lamp like some restaurants. The atmosphere was comforting. Reminded me of having dinner at my childhood friends Italian home. Service was exceptional! The servers are knowledgeable about every dish, and provided fantastic recommendations when choosing our meals. We never had to wait for a drink, the servers were very attentive. We ended the night shopping in the deli. There are premade dishes you can take home, heat up and serve. Lasagna, chicken cutlets, meatballs, etc. They have subs and pizza as well. Desserts too! Cannolis anyone? We topped the night off with fresh scoops of gelato! Unbelievable! We sat outside at the deli table and ate these, enjoying the beautiful weather, and conversation. I highly recommend Johnny D’s. In my opinion, this is the best Italian in IRC.

Vegetarian options: They cook to order. Our friend had butternut squash ravioli and another dish modified to be served on a bed of spinach. Serve salad and lots of pasta dishes.

Dietary restrictions: They cook to order and will modify and recipe.

Parking: Ample!

Kid-friendliness: It’s like going to someone’s house e. Yes, kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for a wheelchair. Parking and bathrooms as well.
