The food was amazing. The prices were very reasonable and the meals themselves had large portions, and great taste. The service here was great. Our server was working quickly and efficiently; checking in every now and then. The atmosphere was peaceful, and cozy; closely tying to a breakfast restaurant. Overall, highly recommend.

I never complain about anything but I felt like I definitely had to say something as I'm still thinking of it.. first let me start by saying it's not the cheapest place to have breakfast.. so when your eggs come out raw, and your homemade potatoes are cold and mushy with no flavor whatsoever! The only decent thing was my sausage links. The sourdough toast half was burnt, and drowning in butter. Let's just say the taste it left in my mouth will not bring me back to this restaurant ever again.

Waitress clearly expecting a 50% tip ($20) and for that simple fact giving them 2 stars. Decent simple menu which made it easy for me to order from. Hubby, son and I weren’t impressed with the food but the prices are fair enough. They take cash only which is fine but when my husband returned from the atm with the cash since all I had was $29 cash on me, he laid the 3-20’s WELL fanned out on the bill that came to $40.00. The waitress was attentive enough the whole time until that point and had the nerve to walk by 3 separate times over a 15ish minute period after that gawking at the 3 20’s but never once asking/assuming that we may have wanted change, which is normally what any waitress has ever done. After sitting there for another 5 or so minutes once she sat down next to our table as she spoke to the other waitresses rolling silverware, I finished my drink and we left. Point is we intended tipping $20 which was a 50% tip since it’s the holidays (until we recognized what she was doing) but highly ignorant to see her intentionally do that and ignore us.Clearly because she wasn’t expecting it. I even went to say something when we left and she pretended she didn’t hear me. I guess she was assuming I was asking for change but suddenly talking over me to one of the waitresses when I began to speak. We will never go back just because of the level of….not sure of the word for that? Manipulation and unprofessional.

I was in Vero Beach for my 50th class reunion .Although the Cobalt restaurant at the Kimpton resort where we were staying had really great food we were not quite as impressed with their breakfast as compared to the dinner , so we ventured out for breakfast . After our 1st time eating there our server Barbara gave us such wonderful service ,we decided to come back the next day . Our server Andrea provided us with the same great service and hospitality as we had experienced the day before . I highly recommend that if you're ever in vero beach that you eat at the KOUNTRY KITCHEN, the food was Great and the service was even better. Bon Apetite .
