This was a great breakfast/brunch spot on Hutchinson Island in Vero Beach. Close to the beach and plenty of parking is available.

Great little find in Vero delicious food, great service and reasonably priced. Omelette was yummy, my daughter loved the waffles with strawberries and cream. Don’t leave Vero without going here then wander the shops..

I was given a 20 minute wait time, 35 minutes later we were sat, no apologies given.

Worst crab cakes I have ever had. More than 2/3 filler. Very little crab.

We stayed within walking distance and had a wonderful breakfast. Had the smoked cheesy grits with poached eggs and sourdough toast. It was fantastic. Our server was very pleasant and attentive which is unusual these days.

Update:
Sept 2025 -- Busy Sunday at lunchtime. The restaurant smelled amazing! There was a 20-30 minute wait, but the dining room is so well run, that we got in pretty quickly. The server appeared alw/water & muffins as soon as we were seated. It's great to know we can count on an exceptional dining experience even when they are insanely busy.

Great options for Celiacs, vegetarians, vegans!

Breakfast at The Lemon Tree is a family tradition whenever we stay at The Driftwood in Vero Beach!

I splurged and got Lobster Benedict on gluten-free bread. The fresh Maine lobster was perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned, topped with a perfectly poached egg and delectable Hollandaise sauce.

My side of house-made breakfast potatos clearly exceeded all expectations! They were fresh, not a frozen, processed, Sysco product!

Fresh Florida orange juice and coffee completed my meal.

Our waitor, Dee, was incredibly helpful when I asked about gluten-free options. He did a great job of explaining what adaptations/substitutions I can safely eat. There are GF versions of just about every breakfast item!

My husband got the big breakfast combo with sausage and pancakes that looked fantastic!

Great place! Exceptional food! Staff wearing face masks and disinfecting as soon as guests leave a table.

Great omelet and seafood quiche. We sat outside as inside was noisy. Quick service.
