Mulligan's Beach House

We got there at 5:30pm on a Monday and were seated inside as the wait outside would have been 45 min to an hour, not a problem. The waiter was prompt and professional, the food was served in a timely manner and was good. My problem was when we got the bill, as you can see in attached picture, there was a Gratuity of 15% added to the bill. It says 10% on the bill but 10% of 64.05 is $6.41 not $10.43. I looked all over the entrance and by the cash out location and no- where is it displayed that there is an automatic gratuity added to the bill. The waiter said I had to pay it and that earlier this year the wait staff went from $10 an hour to $3 an hour and the gratuity is theirs. He said he did not like it but there is nothing they can do about it. I will not dine there EVER again, if they (management) are going to do this it should be posted somewhere so the public knows before spending money there. A tip is just that, extra for good service if you are taking that option away from me then call it what it is a TAX.

Don’t eat here food lousy mahi over cooked no taste plus hair in food . Overpriced fish and chips ok but not what they rave about . But the view was nice (waitress was nice she did take the price of mahi off bill ) still and all not a good place to eat. Gratuity at 18% already added in bill I still believe that should be the costumers decision on how much the give it make service better

Review from a local here: I have been living here for the past 5 years. To me, Mulligans is a staples spot for tourists. New manager, Oliver Nesbith, has been doing more than one thing right. Smell from the bar floor is gone, kitchen reviews are better. I’m ready to keep coming as I have been but the difference now is that there is a new, enhanced managment in place who is making it right and making it better! I appreciate you, Oliver Nesbith for caring! Also shout out to Laura, the bartender, for caramel latte with spice and Lakeisha for a great service provided at a sandbox.

Went there for Vero's bonfire night. Worst restaurant i have ever eaten in. Ordered Caesar Chicken Salad. Chicken dry, salad soft, had to ask for dressing.. No one cared. One beer and the salad $36. They include a tip on the bill along with some service charge like it or not. Friend had a Reuben sandwich, meat was overcooked and fries were cold. One drink and the sandwich $34. Service horrible, table dirty. Never again!

Our waitress Brittany was outstanding. Great service. Friendly and attentive.They split a dinner for us. And gave us extra condiments to go with our leftovers. The hostess gave us wonderful seats at a table facing the beach. The fish tacos were great.

Have had much better seafood hundreds of miles from the coast. Service was good. Menu over priced for what you get.

Had a great lunch today as usual - the place really looks good & cleaned up! The new managers Jen & TK have been hard at work improving the place, spirit, and employee moral. Can't say enough!
The best bar on the beach for dinner, cocktails, & to view our beautiful beach & ocean with friends! Love it!

The food was delicious, and the hostess led us to a table outside overlooking the ocean. Brittany, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. When we split a dish, the kitchen split the portion into two plates, which was a lovely touch! We went back a second night and requested Brittany and received the same wonderful service and delicious food.

I had the blackened pineapple Maki and it was excellent. Atmosphere was great because I was outside hearing the waves roll in not cloud in the sky. Server was attentive, knowledgeable and checked in often.

I have come to this place for about 5 years , 4 to 5 times a year everything was always very good. Today I went and I do t know if they have changed ownership or started using dei but the service was awful. Our food come out wrong my green beans wasn't cooked still tasted like I took it off the plant rice was not cooked our fish had the texture of chicken, this place had the best tea around now it tasted like dirt .its sad to see a place I really enjoyed go to shit but it finally happened, I hope this place will straighten up but until then I will not be back,

The massive fish and chips was enough to split with my wife. The crispy coating, juicy fish, and tangy tartar were great. And fire cracker shrimp filled out the ensemble. I smashed a couple Sailfish IPA's. It was all awesome with big waves crashing at a high tide. The rain passed by and cooled off the ocean breeze. Cheers!
