Hubby and I have consistently had good food at both here & the Lakewood Park location. We dined in a few days ago, and the food was hot, delicious, and plentiful. I had the steak and chicken hibachi, and my hubby had the shrimp and scallop hibachi, both with the white sauce on the side. Plus, we shared the pineapple cream cheese wontons. The drink selection is somewhat limited, but other than that, everything is 5☆

I placed my order online and asked for no onions or carrots as seen on the receipt, but unfortunately still had them and needed to pick them all out. That was disappointing. Employees tend to be unfriendly the times we’ve picked up. Aside from those issues, it’s a pretty good value and a convenient takeout option.

Wow! An immense amount of food for the money! I got vegetable teriyaki and it was delish! Not overly sauced making the veggies gooey! The fried rice was not greasy. Everything was just right!!!Lovely meal. We will be back!

Ordered food at 5:27 did not receive till 6:37 was told there be an extra 20 minute wait for brown rice, brown rice, came out, undercooked and un edible I don’t know what’s going on with this place, but it use to be five stars across-the-
I feel absolutely gypped. I ordered a poke bowl. I paid an extra $3.50 for meat, then an extra 2.50 for masago. They put half the expected amount of meat and less than half a teaspoon of masago on my entire bowl! 3/4 of my bowl was WHITE RICE! When I pay $20+ for a poke bowl, I expect more than a 1/4 c of grilled chicken and more than a half teaspoon of masago! seaweed salad is always good, but they put so little of anything other than rice it was hard to enjoy. i ended up eating the “topping” stuff and throwing out the rest of the rice because who wants to eat 2 cups of white rice with nothing along? Ridiculous. After 3 years of ordering at least 1 time every 2 months, we will NEVER return.

Serendipitous location, delicious fresh food, price is a bit high however the quality of food and friendly staff is well worth it! Portions were a bit small for a to-go order in my opinion, however it’s was top-rate quality food! The young lady at the front counter was very friendly and knowledgeable, made great recommendations, even went beyond her scope of duties and helped a lost phone find its owner. Wonderful service, a rare sight in the service industry nowadays, I was impressed and satisfied with this location, definitely recommending all my friends, family and co-workers! Keep up the great work.

I was not feeling well and just needed some white rice. My wife attempted to purchase it from their competitor Plum Tree in the same shopping center and they refused to let her pay for the order because she was using a credit card. She went to Oniku Hibachi, paid $3 instead of the $7 Plum Tree was going to charge her and had no issues. I am feeling better now, thank you. We will be taking our business here going forward.
