The best cafe for clean, affordable eats! Lox toast, green açai bowl, soup, empanadas.. I could go on and on the food is good!

We loved our visit to Palato Cafe! Delicious Colombia coffee with a few lovely varieties. Food was so good, pastries were delicious and the empanadas were also so good. We would definitely visit again when we are in town!

I’ve been seeking fresh coffee beans for my espresso machine and yesterday I purchased some from Palato Cafe. I made my usual espresso this morning and the beans make all the difference!!! Smooth, rich, and so good! Highly recommend their arabica beans!

Great Vegan options! Croissant egg sandwich for my meat loving husband and Pesto Avocado Toast for me with a pine ginger smoothie. All was amazing. It's about time Vero Beach got a healthy place to eat. We need more places to eat like this!

Cute little family owned cafe with gluten-free options. They have a variety of non dairy options for your coffee, including coconut milk (my go-to). I ordered the lox on gluten-free bread, and it was delicious. The perfect amount of everything and all the vegetables were so fresh, including the avocados. They even have gluten-free pastries. This is my new go-to when I'm in Vero Beach.

I went with my dad for the first time. We enjoyed the menu choice which were very fresh and healthy but we did have to wait a bit for service despite sitting at the bar since most of the tables inside were taken. I had some questions about the menu and preparation which were answered but she misunderstood my choice and gave me something else. She didn’t notice till I said something then quickly offered to remake my sandwich. I refused and was actually glad. My sandwich was delicious. I got the Calabria Sandwich on bread (not a wrap) and onion dipping sauce with a side of fresh fruit. I also enjoyed an Italian soda. It was full of pineapple..So yummy!!
My dad got a breakfast dish, Poet casserole. That was very cheesy and he got a side of Greek yogurt with shaved almonds and honey. He really liked it and eat everything. Plus we shared a guava pastry that was made by our server.

My group ordered a nova lox, Mediterranean wrap, egg sandwich, smoothies and pastries. We spent 75 dollars total.

The guava cookie was delicious and the atmosphere was quaint. It is a comfortable setting.

However, the rest of the food was not very good. The bread was dry and and the egg was cold. The smoothie was mediocre.

Additionally, although not completely their fault…they let a customer who appeared to be sick (blowing nose and coughing) sit at the bar that overlooks the preparation of the food

It took a while to make the food, which I could understand. However one of the employees kept stopping and talking to the customer who was sick. I’m not sure why it took so long for simple sandwiches to be prepared. The ingredients did not seem quality for how expensive it was.
