I had a slamburger yesterday and it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and wanted in a burger my entire life 🤤 when I say I want a hot juicy burger…… that was it. I burned my tongue and I didn’t even care. I will be returning today! Not only that but the first time we visited, I’m pretty sure I got a pulled pork loaded mac and cheese — I genuinely don’t remember what I ordered but it was freaking sublime and I smashed every bite. Yesterday we also got the 3 meat tray with chicken, pulled pork, and the moist brisket plus coleslaw and mac (of course). Once again, it was to die for. So juicy and tender, husband really enjoyed the chicken (bc he’s trying to behave with his food intake) and my 5yo commandeered the coleslaw for his own and ate the whole dang thing. We were all able to eat to satisfaction and it was honestly such a value compared to eating out at other local and franchise restaurants. Yesterday by the grace of God alone we managed to resist the urge to buy the quart sized banana pudding which we had also bought on our first visit…… unreal. We may not have the same tenacity to resist it today and honestly whatever happens happens 😌😌😌😌 thank you guys! Such great food and I love to support a family business that obviously puts so much care into their craft. See you soon!! 🤤🔥

We’ve been recommended Pepper and Salt numerous times and finally made it out. It was delicious, and we fully enjoyed our meal! Will definitely be back to try some of the specials we’ve seen online.

Great food!! Got the two meat plate with two sides. The ribs were the star of the show, fall off the bone and flavor was there without sauce. Brisket and Mac and cheese was great as well.
Best BBQ in Vero, but far from the best BBQ I’ve had. My first time in and the brisket I got was a bit dry, probably got what was left for the day. The pork belly was great though. They have been around for a few years now but I feel like they still have some kinks to work out till they are a 5 star rating. Overall I’d come back but I wouldn’t run back. Very fair price for what you get

Great food! BUT portions are slim. I got a 2 meet plate and it came with one small slice of turkey and one small slice of brisket, let’s just say after spending $35 I would expect there to be more. I’m still hungry!

I can't believe it took me this long to try this place. When I read they were from Texas, I had high expectations and it is the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I'm from the South so that is saying a lot! The sides are delicious too especially the mac and cheese. The cornbread is moist. They hit the nail on the head with everything. I can't wait to go back and try more. This will be my new BBQ go to. It literally melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor! Perfection!
