Great food. Not a lot of seating inside if they are busy or you show up at the lunch rush. brisket is smoked low n slow on real oak wood smokers so you can count on solid flavor. The mac n cheese was ok and the pork spares were very good. Worth a visit for sure if you are in Vero Beach, FL area.
Cons: Parking can get packed, not alot of indoor seating, two benches outside along the street, but seriously dont let that deter you from trying this place out

Food is very good and some excellent smokers there. However, I had a stoned/stupid young woman who didnt communicate (at all really - just shook head) when I was having trouble ordering and not knowing where to look for menu. VERY UNHELPFUL - long hair brunette - stay away from her - she was perhaps on drugs? or just poorly trained for customer service. Other woman, blonde, stepped in and +++ ! Hopefully, they can work on their staff training and consistency in customer service - a very young crew overall !

About a month ago, I saw a post on social media about Pepper & Salt BBQ in Vero Beach. I travel to Vero for work at least twice a month. Anyway, I had the chance to visit the restaurant yesterday, and it blew away all expectations.
I ordered the 3-meat platter with brisket, ribs, and pork belly with cole slaw and mac n cheese as sides. The ribs were meaty and tender and had a nice bark on them. The brisket was very tasty and juicy. The pork belly was full of flavor. And the sides were awesome as well.
I will definitely return and bring my family along. Thank you for the amazing BBQ and service!

The hours suck you get there 2 hours before they close. They're sold out of the meat. If you can't run a business correctly, you shouldn't be open. People are home on the weekends, not during the week. That's when they go out to dinner. Your hours are a joke

Great spot in Vero - some of the best bbq we have had. Wise to arrive early - they do run out of some meats as the day goes on. Portions are reasonable and everything is really good - no bad choices here, but the brisket is particularly impressive. The smash burger is a sleeper hit as well…

Stopped in for a quick pulled pork sandwich. Late lunch. Very friendly lady. The sandwich was great! Pork was done just right, pepper was spot on. I got it to go, didn't think about barbecue sauce. So put it on at home. Next time ill remember. Will definitely be back. She also told me they will be serving breakfast next door now too.
