We had a terrific meal at the River Twist Saturday evening. Although it is not talked about a lot on Social Media, we had heard about it from a Vero Beach neighbor. We were very impressed with the sophisticated presentation and the flavors. My husband ordered the Veal Scallopini. 1st time visit. Place is larger than we thought cute decos too. Sat at the bar. Cocktails great. 3 of us. Shrimp. Beef. Fish. All excellent. And hot!!!! 2 desserts 👍👍but forgot that I mentioned it was a Bday dinner when I called for reservation. Would have been fun🤷🏻♀️A new find & we shall return. Easy parking & close to home. Noise level good. Not crowded.
We read very good reviews so wanted to try. The ambience was dark, the decor I assume to be eclectic but actually hodgepodge. The service was ok. the owner/manager and server Brandy were ok We ordered 3 appetizers to evaluate the food. Disappointing. Calamari grilled. NOT Grilled. Served In Thai peanut sauce w fish sauce mix. Rubbery. Beef carpaccio. Not traditional w capers. Olive oil etc. not good.
