Only the second time we ate here since 2017. Our waitress was top self. Attentive but not pushy. The beet salad was good, not great. The cajun soup was excellent and spicy enough to be interesting but not burn your face off. The crab cakes were good, not great. There were 3 with each order which was a nice amount. The smoked brisket was flavorful with the BBQ sauce. It was tough and fatty. The mac and cheese was very good. They are known for there braised short ribs years ago....
I'm new to Vero and went to this spot on a recommendation, and we are SO glad we did! It looks like nothing much from the outside , but you are in for a treat!. A family owned and run southern style, casual , fun vibe restaurant. Myself and two guests went to this establishment on the 14th of this month May. Our server Taylor was professional informed describe the specials to a T and took our three orders and a table of four next to us without writing a thing down. I like people that can do that. Plus, she was really good looking so that helped lol
