We were pretty impressed the first time, but it all went to hell the second time around. We did not receive what we ordered and the service was very poor.Additionally, we waited so long for Jayne to come and help us to rectify what was not up to standards that we decided to blow it off. Will not be back again.Shame

Vegetarian options: We promised but not provided

Kid-friendliness: Not a place to bring children

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very good

Dietary restrictions: On the website they say they will cater to you, but in reality they did not... ?

I have been there several times for dinner, classes and of course for tea. Everything I have had there is absolutely fabulous. The one time I did valentine's day there was the best valentine's day ever. You won't be disappointed. Everything is fresh and very good. Finally did a class there and it was so much more than I'd hoped-for. Had an amazing time. Would love to do it again. Maybe a short bread class! Or a chicken curry class. Love the curry. Thank you for everything.

I found the experience of going for a 2 tier cream tea quite disappointing. It has to be ordered and paid for online with an automatic 18% ($9) gratuity added. It cost over $62 for two people and basically consisted of a pot of tea, a scone each with jam and cream, and 1 1/2 sandwich each with a very skimpy amount of filling. The scone was good but it absolutely was not worth the money!

Had a Lovely Afternoon Tea , owner Jayne took time to explain all about tea and how this all came about , no group to big or too small.I am looking forward to more tea party's and trying the famous fish and chips at this Fabulous Mom and Pop British Store and Cafe .

We had a group of Lilly Pulitzer ladies enjoy tea today at Sealantro. This was a great experience! From the knowledgeable hostess to the delicious food & tea, we had the best time! 5 stars!!

Came here for afternoon tea with a group of friends and we had such a nice day! Jayne is a lovely hostess! All the food was very fresh and tasty and the tea service was perfect. She was very knowledgeable about all the tea she served and gave us a few history lessons about proper tea etiquette. I don’t eat meat and she also helped me to find some vegan products she had in her cold case to try at home. A real hidden gem in Vero. I will absolutely be back! Thank you, Jayne!

What a perfect little British Cafe! From delectable meat pies to proper fish & chips plus etiquette classes, imported food selections and Afternoon Tea. Hosted a Lilly Pulitzer Afternoon Tea with friends and had a wonderful day! Jayne was knowledgeable and offered proper etiquette advice (hold those pinkies down ladies!) with delicious finger foods, scones, clotted cream/jam and pink tea. Affordable fun for all! Can’t wait to see the article Vero Beach Magazine wrote about Jayne and her upcoming book. Great having them there to join in the festivities, too. Thank you all so much for your hard work! All of your employees were helpful and Jayne you truly went way above and beyond for all of us. Glad I went back in later that day and scored some fish and chips. Divine!!!!

We went for the Fish and Chips on friday and WOW! Perfectly cooked Cod and the imported potatoes made the best fries ever. Owner chef was there to greet us and the service was friendly and efficient. The dining room is undergoing some redecorating but did not detract much from the excellent experience. A homey, comfortable restaurant.

Amazing food! We went last night making sure to make reservations. The staff was very polite and attentive, the fish and chips was outstanding. Highly recommend going here and getting this. All around fantastic. "Those are French fries"-my husband we will be back.

Parking: Parking was easy right in front of the store.

Very disappointed. I come from a fishing seaport near cape cod. I grew up on fish & chips. There was a fish and chip store practically on every street corner. If anyone knows what excellent fish and chips taste like it’s me. I can assure you these fish & chips did not meet the standard I grew up with. Not even close. Codfish was dry, both fish and batter was tasteless, no flavor at all - my husband agreed. We hadn’t had lunch so we were starved and ate it but was very dissatisfied. The “chips” were short fat French fries, mushy inside without any flavor or crispy batter. I’ve had much better coleslaw as well. Would not return. Would not recommend.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for some hot tea, but they stop serving at around 4:00PM. We quickly realized they were serving England style fish and chips and chose to place an order. The food was absolutely delicious. The “chips” were authentic and delicious and the fresh cod was cooked perfectly! We left feeling full and happy! My only suggestion would be to serve hot tea up until closing, as many patrons may want a hot tea to go in the early evening. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and worth a repeat visit!

It’s taken me too long in finding time necessary for a review of Sealantro. Now to sit and write a fabulous review for this top notch establishment. What really reminded me the importance of sharing an honest, fair and truthful review was in pulling up google to show my grandmother today where I’d recently gone for tea with my sister and came across a terrible review from “John” 4 days ago. He wrote a review for his wife and did not indicate he ever stepped foot in this restaurant. How can anyone post a review when they weren’t even present? A third party review should be removed by google and furthermore not be taken to heart by potential customers. If your wife writes a review that would be fair. No?I see where his anger comes from. It’s easy to read: parents who were insulted by realizing they have unruly children. Here’s a review from a real customer, who has visited Jayne and Michaels establishment for years. I have seen them many, many times working exceptionally hard to provide excellent service in make amazing British food, offering high tea, etiquette classes for children (oh the irony!) and the fish and chips Friday’s. I’m currently working on a gathering of Lilly Pulitzer loving ladies for high tea. I know they will love it!First, you are greeted by the smell of delicious food the moment you open the door. Mouth watering options from shepherds pie to delectable desserts. There is a neat little wrap around bar or tables to sit. You can go solo with magazines to read or go with a group of friends for tea and scones/finger sandwiches and desserts. This most recent trip (Thursday 8/25/2022) my sister and I chose the chamomile and rose hip tea (I think that was it?) as caffeine free is for me! Jayne offered us expertly made tea with a Scone (we chose the raisin scone), jam, real Devonshire clotted cream (wow!) and as always it was delicious. My vote is… clotted cream goes on first and then the jam!Tea was the perfect temp, served in proper china and with several sugar options.I chose to take home the beef curry pie and oh MY! After I finished my dinner that night I looked to my spouse to inquire what he thought and saw an empty plate. “It was terrible, can’t you see?” ?They even have British food shipped from the U.K. For you to take home. Aero candy bars??? They’re the BEST!I love stopping in for a quick pie to go after a long day and zero desire to cook. They are so delicious. Crisp, buttery pie crust and several meat options (chicken/pork/beef) and all are made with antibiotic/hormone free farm fresh eggs (they were delivered that afternoon!) and the flavor makes sense they’re farm fresh. Jayne and Mike put extra effort into assuring quality food is selected to assure only the best food is given to their customers. This repeat customer will regularly be back! Thank you all for your hard work in providing great customer experiences!

Fish & chips. For many years, since I was properly introduced to fish & chips in Norwich, that was my go to dish when checking new place. Sealantro is a single dish place, and it is fish and chips. Just fish & chips. Potatoes are from England, cod is fresh and made while you wait, so bring some patience-it is well worthy. The size is misleading- we both were working hard to manage whole serving, with no chances for desert.

I also would like to comment on John K's review (who was not even there) The comments he made were untrue. The 2 girls were out of their seats, yelling and stamping their feet for quite some time- at least 10 minutes. None of the 3 ladies with them made any attempt to stop them. The owner came out and kindly spoke to them about the girls' behavior. It was so disruptive my famiy was about to say something to them and we would not have been so nice. On a very positive note - the service, the food, the tea was all wonderful. It was our first time there -- but definitely not our last.
