We were there for trivia night, the manager was rude and screaming at customers. The bartenders were nasty and rude, servers were slow and git our order all wrong. Dont waste your money.

Great place for supper or Sunday night 'blues'.. do you ever get those? Mondays start a week of appointments & more... Sean Ryan's is a real Irish, traditional pub. Pub includes huge circulative bar with Sports TV. The tennis season is quickly moving with Wimbledon to finalize it on 4th of July week. They make all their own good 👍 🥝 foods. Older and middle aged crowd at Sean Ryan's.

Didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food. Service was outstanding from the 1st bartender, but it took a lot of work to get the 2nd bartender's attention, even though it wasn't any busier. Only there with friends from work. The sewage smell will keep me from going back and make me recommend ANYWHERE else!!!

It is April. We went it. Will Definantly not going back. Ask for ice tea without sugar. Tasted old. My friend had the Mahi bits. Terrible. I had the chicken egg rolls. Terrible. Will not ever go back.

Looking for an alternative Wednesday evening spot to augment Riverside Cafe. This won't be it.

Ordered stuffed cabbage. Good but not great. Was supposed to be stuffed with beef, not lamb. They covered the cabbage and mashed potatoes(off the truck), with "ott" gravy, not tomato sauce as stated in the menu.

Prices were good. $4 bottled beer. No house wine, so wife had pay more for a more expensive label.

The restaurant was dark and drab. Dark green with black accents.

NO HAPPY hour. Seriously!!!

I was there with several other friends and no one rated their meal above 7 out of 10.

The restaurant is new, and there were a ton of snowbirds there, which begs the question how well will they do long term.

Unless they developed a compelling identity that gives you good reason to return, they may not survive the year. I know my group has no immediate plans on going back.

April 2021, been 4 years, tried it again. Had shepard's pie. Really good. They now have happy hours. Changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Nicely done!

Update 11/2/2024

Subsequently, SRP has become one of our go-to Saturday date night venues. The food is good, we have gotten to know some of the staff by first name, and they have live entertainment on Saturday night. Sean Ryan, the owner, is a hands-on proprietor who is always present. He is the reason I'm writing this update.

My wife and I have had a lot of great meals there over the years, but on this Saturday night, she had Mahi Florentine. After one bight, she complained that the fish was overcooked and chewy. We informed our waitress, and she took the dish away. At checkout time, there was no adjustment to the bill for the returned meal. We questioned it, and she referred it to Sean. He questioned, with an attitude, why we had waited so long to complain. He had obviously not checked with the waitress before approaching us. He later returned with an adjusted bill and a half apology.

We recently leased a place in downtown and thought we'd try this place for the first time. First impressions generally determine if we return. If there's an issue that is addressed properly, I will not hold it against a place of business. However, in this case, we ordered takeout and it did not go well. My wife ordered a cheeseburger, on the take out menu, it says "our signature burger with lettuce and tomato". We got it back to our place and it was just a burger on a bun. We also ordered 2 bottles diet coke and a bottle coke, all of which expired 4 months ago. My wife returned to the restaurant and the one guy there said the burgers come plain, lettuce and tomato must be added. Perhaps they should change the menu if that is the case. The worker gave her lettuce and tomatoes to add to the now cold burger and sent her on her way. They're fortunate she went back instead of me. The rest of the food was good but her burger, by the time she returned, was not edible. Whoever was working on 11/5/24 needs to be coached, this was an awful experience, it was the first and last time we will go there.

Go there quite often and always enjoyable. My only complaint is the salmon is overcooked considering how thin it is served. Love the pretzel appetizer and other dishes.

I've only had the Shepherds pie and cocktails, but both were good. There's trivia on Tuesdays, which is fun. You can win bar tabs.

This is the second time that I ordered their Wednesday special? First time was their shrimp special, thinking it was fresh shrimp? It looks like it came from Sam’s club?? Last night I ordered their Grouper special thinking it was fresh??? Was told that it was prepared, that I could only get it fried?? When I got my order, I couldn’t cut the grouper with a knife!!! The grouper looked like it came from a frozen section from Sam’s club??
Coming from New Orleans, this restaurant would be out of business with such so called specials!!!!

First time guests at this quaint Irish pub. The consignment shop across the street recommended this place for lunch. We had potato skins, PEI mussels and the chicken salad sandwich. The rye bread was very aromatic and super fresh. The chicken salad was delicious with just the right amount of mayo and seasoning. Loved the skins and mussels. Nice draught selection and great cocktail choices. As new residents of Vero Beach we have added this place to our ‘must return to’ list.
