Hidden gem alert! This place exceeded my expectations. Delicious food and top-notch service. Cant' wait to come back.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The first time, we enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. This time we brought friends with us and it took a long time to get our appetizer and our meals. When the food came out, they were missing my fiancé’s dish. I just happen to notice the table next to us speaking to the server about the meal they had received just before us and how it was wrong. The guy did say he had taken two bites and they removed the plate and brought his meal to him. Our server then came over very nervously and informed us that my fiancé’s food would be out momentarily. I happen to notice that the meal the gentleman at the other table had was my fiancé’s meal. I am pretty sure the meal was re-plated based on the time it took to bring it to my fiancé. It looked like it had fresh sauce and cheese, but it came out looking quite different from the one our friend ordered. I did not want to say anything and caused a big scene and embarrass my fiancé in front of our friends. Overall, it was just a disappointing night. The roasted pepper tomato soup was good other than the pepper seeds I had to spit out and the fried green tomatoes are good as well.

From making the reservation, to paying the check the staff was flawless. I ran late coming in from West Palm Beach so I reached out and the guys made sure my date was treated with class and entertained with the utmost respect until I arrived.
The food was more than presentation, it was so good that it proved to enhance our entire night. Even in our conversations the following day - the food was a topic.
We will be back, thank you all; Chris, Kevin and the staff for everything you did to make our time together exactly what I was hoping for.

For our Anniversary good friends brought us here & we loved it. It’s a small place with beautiful Florida paintings all over the walls. That Honey truffle butter was amazing. We like that the menu is small, it usually means they pay more attention to detail & we were right. The flank steak with thin crisp onions, the fish, the Wagyu beef & amazing risotto, the ultra soft & creamy cheesecake & the homemade key lime pie ice cream with mango bread pudding… we will be back!

Picked this Restaurant on a whim & Greatly Delighted! Quiet intimate dinning, Delicious Fresh Taste! We enjoyed the Duck and Pork Chop for our Entree's. They had a nice selection on the menu but the specials that were offered were amazing as well! We ordered the air fryed Gator with collad greens and hot honey drizzle it was SO good..Never had gator like that before and happy we chose it. Order the bread and butter!! Honey Truffle Butter need I say more. Our server was fantastic the price was great and so was the art by local artists around the restaurant.

The Oar is a favorite and consistently provides an incredible dining experience. The menu is creative, refreshing, and full of flavor. We love to try the specials, and there is something for every palette.

Side note: The burrata is the best I’ve had. It tastes so fresh and light, and I love the pesto it comes with.

Back to the point: I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every bite I’ve had here from the apps (escargot, octopus, fried green tomatoes, mussel special, etc.) to the entrees (pasta, duck, fish like the tuna special this time, etc.) to the desserts. My family fought over the wagyu bolognese pasta like a pack of hungry animals.

Thank you to The Oar for the fabulous food, lovely staff, and wonderful dining experiences that you give to the community!

This was our first time visiting, but certainly won’t be our last! Don’t be fooled by the view from the street. When you park behind the building and walk through the courtyard past the stone lion and the burbling fountain, you know you’ve found yourself someplace very special. The food was delicious- perfectly seasoned and prepared. The atmosphere was peaceful and elegant- the service was impeccable. Ask for Mike when you go. Excellent local find!

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) chef Christopher really knows how to create and deliver TOP TOP notch dishes from locally sourced ingredients. Dishes are unique, extremally flavorful and presented exquisitely! I spent my life dining at some of the best restaurants in NYC, so I have a high bar. I been struggling since moved to Florida with a lot of hit or misses (mostly misses lol!) But this place delivers!!! Menu changes often so there is always a reason to go back! One of the best in Vero Beach for sure!!

The food was very fresh and prepared with care. When in Vero this place is a must. Having spent some time in the business I can tell you the service was second to none. Kevin, had it covered with efficency, kindness and honesty. The pork chop was amazing, I know, pork chop amazing, really? But it was tender, flavorful and juicie. Wine and beer only. We had the appetizer of grouper cheeks. They were the best I have ever had.

Who said fine dining is absolute? Not us!! We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Ore Restaurant.

It was our first visit. No regrets!! The food was amazing from the presentation to the aromas on down! If you haven’t been, you need to go! BG was our server, and he was extremely attentive in every way!

We even had the pleasure of meeting our chef and owner Chris! He deserves kudos for his unique dishes, prepared with scrumptious fresh ingredients!

What a gem of a place!! We’re in awe!
We will certainly come back again soon!

Thank you Ore for making our anniversary memorable!
