The service was wonderful. The food, not so much. I ordered grouper and it was overcooked and dry. The green beans were raw. My wife had the veal and it was mostly breading. The conch fritters were burnt and very pedestrian. The fried shrimp appetizer was less than stellar. I knew they were not fresh but frozen and already peeled because the texture had that unique sodium triphosphate texture. If want to bring your date there for ambience, then yeah, it's a good place. But, if you're into eating well, don't believe the hype.
This was our first time at Tides. We’ve heard about it for years. It was ok. I was expecting a little more since it is located over on the beach in Vero. Everything we had in our group was good, just not outstanding.

The Tides is just a wonderful restaurant. Magical dining on their patio, attentive service, and a delicious meal. The Tides deserves it’s five star reputation.

I decided to take my wife out to dinner for her birthday and after reading the reviews, chose The Tides since we had never been there before. Absolutely the best restaurant my wife and I have found so far in the two years we have lived in Vero Beach and overall best meal we have had in a restaurant in many years! Our waitress was Rachel who was phenomenal, as was Riley, her assistant. A little pricey, but the whole experience was well worth it!

I am surprised the reviews here are as good as they are. My wife and I came while on a long getaway weekend from Atlanta. We found the food uninspired. I had the grouper (one of their signature dishes) which was just okay. It was served with flavorless (piped) mash potatoes and haricot vert. I was paying $45 for an entree that looked like it could have been served at a fundraiser. Our server was very friendly and had good command of the menu and specials. Sitting out on the patio was lovely as the weather was perfect. The key lime pie for dessert was very good. Overall I would say the quality of the food is not worth the prices.

Start to finish incredible customer service. We were seated quickly, and Robert our server took great care of us. Our water glasses NEVER went without, as there was a young man clearing plates and making sure our water never ran dry. This level of attention was not lost on me. The food was Beautiful as it was delicious. It is rare that I dine at a place that feels more than a meal, we felt taken care of. I will absolutely be back!
The Tides Restaurant was amazing! We went for our wedding anniversary celebration and had a wonderful time! Elizabeth met us at the door, introduced us to our server and service was amazing! Gena made meal and cocktail recommendations and provided an excellent overview of the chef’s specials. We had delicious calamari that was placed over a small saucy base and beautifully appointed with a few garnishing vegetables followed on by a lovely peach salad with greens, prosciutto and cheese. Our main entrées were peppercorn filet mignon nicely flavored and a tilefish dinner. A classy touch was when Chef Leann made a special table visit to confirm that our steak was cooked to our liking🥰. We shared the signature Irish oatmeal cake with a side of ice cream. We loved everything about The Tide and will definitely be returning. Quaint little place! We give it five ⭐️s!!
Just had the most amazing vegan meal—pan-seared maitake mushrooms with a red wine reduction, sweet potato mash, and broccolini. The mushrooms were crispy and rich, the sauce was perfect. Flavor-packed and so delishous. Would 100% order again!

Enjoyed an excellent Father's Day celebration on the outdoor patio. Rachel took such wonderful care of each person's needs. She gave exceptional service. The food was presented so beautifully and was very flavorful. I forgot to take a picture of the conch fritters as they were delicious and vanashied as quickly as they showed up! Dinners were delicious, and if I had room for dessert, I would have tried that as well.
Picked this place for dinner based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. There were plenty of specials to choose from. We started with the fried oysters and calamari, both were excellent. The pear salad was fresh and flavorful. For our entrées we had the duck, tuna, pork chops, sea bass, and fettuccine. Every dish was delicious. A wonderful dining experience all around. Highly recommend trying this place.
Food quality was good, low energy, clean butt dull. Would definitely appeal to the 75+ community.
Amazing in every way. Best dinner we've had in years. Service is spot on. Ambiance is perfect for romantic dinner or casual get-together. Came as guests, left as friends.
So good we went back the next night to try other things on the menu!!
