This was our first time at Tides. We’ve heard about it for years. It was ok. I was expecting a little more since it is located over on the beach in Vero. Everything we had in our group was good, just not outstanding.
I decided to take my wife out to dinner for her birthday and after reading the reviews, chose The Tides since we had never been there before. Absolutely the best restaurant my wife and I have found so far in the two years we have lived in Vero Beach and overall best meal we have had in a restaurant in many years! Our waitress was Rachel who was phenomenal, as was Riley, her assistant. A little pricey, but the whole experience was well worth it!
I am surprised the reviews here are as good as they are. My wife and I came while on a long getaway weekend from Atlanta. We found the food uninspired. I had the grouper (one of their signature dishes) which was just okay. It was served with flavorless (piped) mash potatoes and haricot vert.
