Really good food. Not as spicy as I like but the scallops were perfect. I got the beef dish and it was large enough for 3 people buty favorite was the vanilla flan. Creamy and not too sweet. Also try the super strong Cuban coffee.

My wife schedule reservations for our anniversary party for a party of 15 and the reservation was canceled three days later only two days prior to the event because it’s a holiday weekend in the manager wasn’t available to disapprove or approve it prior to. She’s very disappointed as this was the restaurant she chose out of every restaurant she could’ve went to, and they indicated they would not not accommodate a lot .

Schedule reservations for 15 on Monday on Thursday was told my reservations were canceled for my wedding anniversary dinner My the reason is because it’s a holiday weekend. I’m very saddened by this. It is apparent that the manager **Karen** was off for three days and that’s why the decision was made at the last minute.

We frequent quite often & look forward to celebrating occasions here. We went with company & 2 toddlers. We were sorely disappointed on this visit. Both the Paella & the 3 chowder soups was bland. The pork dish was very dry. The skirt steak, ceasar salad & roasted chicken was just ok & the kids rice, beans & pizza were just edible. Even though we were celebrating a 55th Birthday & that wasn’t even acknowledged Unfortunately & sadly we may not return to what was once one of our absolute favorite & nicest. restaurant in Vero.

My wife, two children and I had to walk out of this restaurant after waiting 30 minutes for a server to initially attend to us. I am sorely disappointed.

This is the worst service I have had in my life. It's my wife's 40th birthday, we arrive at 6:50pm for a 6:45p reservation. It took a few minutes for us to be seated, but that's not my issue. We were seated by about 7:00pm.

After being seated at 7:00pm and waiting 17 minutes, no one even brought us a glass of water. We complained to the hostess at that point. She apologized and said she forgot to tell the server that we had been seated, and went away to "find our server". She returned a minute or so later to let us know someone would come over shortly. Note, TWO servers attended to tables immediately next to us multiple times. How does no one notice we are there. At no point did either server make eye contact, greet us, or apologize for us not being served.

At roughly 7:20pm, a server was yet to come to use. One of the servers I mentioned above attended to the table next to us 3 or 4 times, bringing out their entrees. I walked over to the hostess and let her know that we were still waiting for a server to come over. She again apologized. I asked her if the gentleman attending to the table next to us was our server. She said that he was.

At 7:30pm, the gentleman has attended to that table next to us another couple of times, he has not acknowledged us, apologized or even made eye contact. We got up, let the hostess know we had had enough, and were about to leave. It was at that point that the server FINALLY came over - he still didn't apologize, by the way. Too little, too late. We left.

We had been to The Wave twice before and really enjoyed it. Perhaps this was an anomaly. Perhaps we just got a really really REALLY bad server. The experience ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful evening.

What a wonderful experience having diner at the Wave. We selected this restaurant for our anniversary because it has been consistently fantastic. From the moment we entered, staff was wonderful. For appitizers we had the black bean soup and the octopus with potatoes, olives, fennel, chorizo and a tasty chimichurri sauce. Fir the main course we had the seafood and meat paella. It was the best outside of Valencia that we have had. The paella was loaded with mussels, clams, bite size pieces of chicken and chorizo, shrimp, with two large scallops all over their perfectly cooked rice. For dessert, the vanilla gelato was absolutely outstanding. The flan was good. The service by Mayara was fantastic. Our water glasses never went down beyond half and she kept checking back to make sure everything was ok. The view was of the ocean and the American flag in the ocean. This is one of the best restaurants in all of Vero Beach. Don't miss the opportunity to have lunch or dinner here.

10TH time dining here over an eight year time frame and The Wave continues to deliver great quality food at a favorable value. Octopus appetizer is amazing - the chorizo adds great flavor. The paella with seafood is tops - the rice cooked perfectly. Finishing with a delicious flan for dessert sends is the only way to go.

We only ate breakfast here because we wanted to discover the gastronomic scene in Vero Beach in the evening. The breakfast was excellent, as was the service. Top.

What’s a shame about this restaurant is that it could be incredible! But unfortunately despite the lovely view, the service and food were not great. Especially considering the cost.
I ordered the crème brûlée oatmeal with the grapefruit with ripe fruit and received plain oatmeal (not the crème brûlée) and it was dry. See pics, and waitress forgot or didn’t look at her notes that I had ordered it. My friends ordered the avocado salad and eggs Benedict. The salad was good, the Benedict were overdone and of course the waitress gave it with potatoes despite the fact that we had asked grits. And so she had to return with a new plate. What’s odd is that it wasn’t busy, most of the waitresses were standing around the bar area. So we don’t really know why it took so long. I arrived at 9;55 got one coffee, then she returned when my friends arrived at 10:45 and asked if I wanted a refill. Then we got out meals around 11:40 after ordering at 10:55 ( I know the time as breakfast ended at 11:00 before brunch. ) in the end, we were really disappointed. We always go to Cobalt but wanted to try this out. I guess we’ll continue giving our hard earned money to the Competitor. I do not recommend this place.

The Sunday brunch is varied and delicious. We ordered the calamari and the ham croquetas. The calamari was outstanding! The service provided by Denis was out of league. Attentive, gracious and very well mannered. We will ask for him again when we return. Pool terrace atmosphere very pleasant. Food and drinks are well priced.

I've been vacationing in Vero Beach for 10 years, and this is the first time we've dinned here. It was top-notch! We'll definitely be back for years to come. A+ experience! #
