Food is outstanding! It's a bit loud due to the popularity, but not too overwhelming. It is worth it for the food! Everything is made fresh, so it takes a little longer to wait for the food to arrive. The grilled Caesar salad special was to die for! I hope they have it again when we go back.

This is our go-to place in Vero. Not too crowded but some extra loud patrons at the bar. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli which I've had before but this time it was swimming in sauce and almost inedible. I ate most of it as we were starving and I mentioned this to the waiter and he agreed. Didn't offer to compensate us with anything though I didn't expect it. We will not order this again - sadly it was a favorite.

Food, as always, was excellent. Halibut special with shrimp and risotto was delicious. Spaghetti Carbonara was also great. Taylor, our server, was knowledgeable, helpful in answering all of our questions and very friendly. As always, a really good dining experience.
Probably the best food i have had here in Vero Beach in a very long time, if ever. My wife and i enjoyed it very much. We really appreciate the size of the portions. Usually we leave a restaurant feeling gross and bloated, but at Dario it was just right. The waiter, Vernon i think his name was, was the best. We asked for his opinion when choosing, and his suggestions were spot on. My wife, a picky eater, kept saying how amazing her entree was. She chose a seafood pasta dish at the recommendation of Vernon, and she was not wrong. I dont even like mushrooms and i ate every last one of them with my filet. Just an excellent meal from start to finish, we will absolutely recommend this place to others, and we will be back soon.

On August 21, 2025 I experienced my 1st trip to Trattoria Dario for a birthday dinner with my husband & 2 friends. Everything from the moment we entered the restaurant to our departure was FABULOUS! Our server was Vernon. He made our evening more enjoyable than we could ever have expected! Drinks, food & desserts…all just delicious!!! Thank you Vernon & TD!!
On August 31, 2025 we returned with out of town guests. This time we ate on the outdoor covered patio. Our server that evening was Dee Dee. She was just wonderful too. Our guests, who can be rather particular, were totally impressed with their food, Dee Dee and the others who supported her. It was another fun, delicious evening. Thank you Dee Dee & TD!!
