Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Despite the bad reviews I decided to give it a try anyway... Glad I did, took my daughter tonight she got the blueberry bliss smoothie and the buffalo chicken wrap, which she said was amazing! I can vouch that it looked and smelled delicious. I got the beach bum smoothie and the PB crunch bowl.... Delicious. The place was clean and the girl taking my order was very nice and was helpful when I asked for suggestions and was patient while I took my time deciding. I would like to add that although sometimes there are just poor experiences, people are too quick to go online and bash people and places based on a small inconvenience or maybe they are having a bad day and let that dictate their experience. Be humble, be kind, it will create a ripple effect.

I was instantly insulted by the woman working in the back. I had to use the restroom and she came out to the front yelling and rudely telling me that the restrooms are for customers only. I am a door dasher that delivers in Vero Beach. I told her that I am a door dasher and that I had to go pee. She refused to let me use the restroom and told her coworker to come from the back of tropical smoothie to watch me to make sure that I did not use the restroom. That seems like harassment. She was very rude to me the entire time.

Had a job offer here and they told me they pay $11 an hour (illegal and under minimum wage), but that they get “tips”, so it balances out to $13-$14 an hour. What I know from working in the food industry is if they treat their employees that badly and take advantage, they WILL treat their customers badly as well, as told by these comments. I will be reporting them to the Florida Department Of Labor. Instead of eating there, support local at Sunset Island, across the street, where their smoothies, açaí bowls, and customer service are all great.

This is the worst tropical smoothie cafe I have ever been to. My order wasn't ready until 15 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready. It looked like they were making my sandwich with no gloves on and after all this they told me to have a nice day. After waiting for 25 minutes this is horrible customer service! They need to shut this down and start over with new employees.

Came for lunch with some friends today. Ordered our stuff. My friend got the wrong order and when he went up to get it corrected. The staff said straight to his face “we are not a restaurant.” Like? You literally serve food. And the lady taking the order seemed too focused on her ride waiting outside and kept looking out the window. Trash service as always.

This location is so SLOW!!!! Ordered on app, received smoothie in time. Food takes way too much time. My app said 11:45am it would be ready. Waited 15 minutes longer and no napkins. Never again.

All I can say is look at the lowest reviews and you know I’m not lying ! This is the worst Tropical Smoothie I have ever been to in the entire state of Florida. The staff is disrespectfuL!!! If I can write this place a -0 I would !!!! Customer service is always AWFUL!!!! At this point, I think they’re just hiring anybody piercings on their face , shirts rolled up, on their phone and then have the nerve to touch our food and smoothies without washing their hands , just nasty ? and if they make your smoothie wrong just expect an attitude. It’s never greeting when you walk in it’s always you ready to order? It’s never a smile! And nobody’s training these new young ladies correctly because they walk away from the registered they don’t even say hold on. Just flat out Uneducated and rude!!!! This is a terrible location to have any type of service with! You guys are better off going to another location! Also, they need to have better management. They need another manager because She is very unprofessional when someone asked us to speak with her. She says she’s busy right now? it seems like she’s young and she doesn’t do anything about feedback or reviews.

I ordered online like I normally do and headed over about 10 minutes later. When I walked in, they were turning people away because they were short staffed (an excuse that I hear often at this location). Everyone’s smoothies were ready, but there is no refrigerator anymore to keep them cold. A lady who came in about 20 minutes after I placed my order got her food before me. When the girl was walking back to the kitchen, she stopped to tell me it would be a few more minutes since they were short staffed. After the third time of being told this, I just asked if she could stop explaining why and just make the food. Another girl came out to explain being short staffed. This girl was helping make smoothies and not helping with the food. I generally come in 1 to 2 times a week, but thinking I will give it a break until they can get staff to handle lunchtime.

This place is a joke every single time I’ve been in there is a wait. And today they are literally turning away customers as “there short staffed” only 2-3 people in here..

Our work group orders here on a regular basis. We all love the acai bowls. Once, there was an issue with the delivery, but the delivery company and Tropical Smoothie sent a refund right away. This location is better than the one on 20th Street. Also, we order so often that they ran out of fruit, the manager went to a local store, picked up the items and made our acai bowls. We appreciate everyone here!!

The employees were on their phone just standing around. Took 30 minutes to receive 3 yogurt bowls. The bowls seemed to have been sitting out for a while since they were melted and warm.

Sandwich quality differs depending on who makes it. Smoothies are inconsistent as well. The açaí bowls are a pleasant treat.

My wrap was ice cold on the inside (its like they just restocked the stuff from the freezer). What makes it worse was that the wrap was toasted. The icing on the cake was that it took someone more roughly 5 minutes to even greet me at the register.Don't waste your money!

Smoothie overflowing, dripping everywhere. Ice too big to drink thru a straw. I love tropical smoothie and this location sucks. Waste of $18. Will never be
