Ume Grill has been by far the best place to taste very well prepared Asian and Japanese food. The place, although small, has some tables inside and others outside with a view of the parking lot. You can feel a good atmosphere, since the service is phenomenal and super friendly. It works just as well for eating in as long as there are not many people since the tables are small, it works super well for pick-up and delivery. I recommend it
This is one of my favorite spots in Vero. Not only do I live 2 blocks down from the place but the food is phenomenal. Staff is always friendly and my food is always ready anywhere from 10-15 minutes after I place my order. 5 stars, I’d definitely recommend to everyone in Vero!
Was excited to check it out after seeing great reviews. Sadly soon after I ordered I slowly realized this wasn’t gonna be good… Many people who ordered after me got their food before me. Didn’t even put utensils or napkins in my to go bag. Food was disappointing considering the great reviews. Lastly, pricey for the portion size. Won’t be back.

Ume Grill has become a favorite of mine! The staff is always friendly, and the food is always freshly prepared. I’ve ordered various poke bowls from them - all were delicious. Wish they were closer to my house so I could order from them more often.

Ume is solid. Poke bowls are fresh and delicious. Hibachi is super tasty and portions are plenty. Great for takeout or sitting out back. Little loud inside with all the grills and hoods. And Cindy and the rest of the staff are very nice.

I cannot express how much I love this place! I hope it never changes. The hibachi dinners are delicious my husband gets double veggies with chicken and steak hibachi. I get chicken with veggies and noodles! We both get their house salad and extra yum yum sauce. I'm not a big fan of the soup but I just don't order it. We visit Ume Grill every time we are back in town! We were in town for 5 days and had it 4 of the 5 nights, simply the best around! And the staff is so sweet they throw in a couple of extra yum yum sauces everytime.

Finally found some tasty Asian food here in Vero Beach. Price for two luncheon specials was $20 but the portion was enough for four. We had the sweet and sour chicken and the salmon both with the fried rice. All were highly flavorful, crispy and light. Sauce was served on the side and delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try all they offer. It’s clear it more of a take out restaurant but they have room for six to dine in. I was warmly welcomed and can feel that the employees are happy to work there.
