For example, during Hurricane Milton, they were there for this community. When all of us were at home readying our homes for the storm, the staff remained at work to ensure everyone had access to a hot meal. When all of us were sitting without power, worrying about storm damage and cleaning up, the staff served our community with hot meals. This is going over and beyond in so many ways. I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We recently bought a home less than two miles from one of their locations. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I eat here five days a week, sometimes more. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. Please stop by and allow your senses to fall in love with this hidden gem. Let’s support small businesses like this that serve our community so well.“

“OUTDOOR atmosphere, reminds me of back home, american south west. Walk-up window as is should be, young lady is polite and friendly, helpful. It's an food truck (red) in the parking lot, you've passed it many of times.
If you've eaten there in the past and the wait time was to long for you, don't come back. Real authentic Mexican food isn't your tacebell, the wait time is no different than indoor restaurants but, SO WORTH IT!!! There's a fresh juice truck next to it, ? El Chappo/Charpo fresh Fuentes (fruit) vs, sorry for miss spelling.

Parking: same lot as Dollar General store.

Kid-friendliness: Bring kids, but their your kids so you keep an eye on then, nobody likes unnecessary dinner interruptions, especially here!!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: They'll help you and depending on the time of day, others will hand you your food, don't be so dramatic.“

“We are reluctant to try Mexican places because In most of them, the food is unnecessarily spicy hot. I understand that most Mexicans like spicy hot food, but the food itself did not have to be spicy as I learned in Mexico.
This place was a really nice discovery for us. The food is perfectly seasoned, no heat added while cooking, just flavor.
We tried several plates and all of them were just perfect.
The only downside, no alcohol other than beer.

“My mom saw the food truck while heading home and ordered the Taco platter, which comes with 3 Tacos and Rice and beans. The flavor of the rice was amazing and the beans were also delicious. Thankfully I kept my order small and had enough to cover it. The Goridita was a little small but the filling and the veggies were very fresh. And for what you get, it is extraordinarily affordable. This is not where you go on date night, unless your date loves authentic Mexican food. Most restaurants try to pass off a cheaper cut of meat as barbacoa but not here. It was so tender and flavorful! The menudo was perfect. Everything was tender and not chewy. She warned me about the red sauce being very hot but I feel it was the perfect amount of spice for my daughter and I. The piña frescas was nice and refreshing. It wasn’t overfilled with ice. I drove from north Lakeland just to try them and I’m so glad they were open. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bartow. The customer service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait to try more! Unfortunately I didn’t get many photos because everything was sooooo good. People that know me know how much of a foody I am and this is authentic Mexican food. “Okay so Tijuana Flats? SLAPS. I pulled up with my crew, ready to inhale some tacos like it was my last supper. The vibe was giving chaotic good—like if a Hot Topic and a cantina had a baby and raised it on Baja Blast.

I got the chimichanga and that thing came out lookin’ like it bench presses burritos for fun. Sauced up like it had drama with Taco Bell. First bite? Gas. Like “text my ex by accident on purpose” kind of good. The hot sauce bar? A whole personality test. I went from “this is chill” to “call my mom” in 0.5 seconds.

Now, I would’ve gone full 5 stars, but… let’s just say my stomach turned into a Slipknot concert around hour three. Taco Tuesday turned into Toilet Thursday, if you catch my drift. Worth it? Debatable. Do it again? Absolutely.

So yeah—T-Flats is that messy friend who hypes you up, gets you into questionable situations, and leaves you with unforgettable memories… and maybe some mild gastrointestinal trauma.

Decided to go with the homewrecker and loaded it up with a little bit of everything and got double chicken and a combo of black beans and pinto beans. I grew up on Mexican and Southern food so I love excellent beans! Personnel behind the counter explained everything to me so I could order properly and I got my meal and sat down and enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was hot, delicious, fresh, and seasoned.
