Restaurantji presents Wauchula's standout Mexican dining destinations.
“When I tell you this was the best experience I’ve ever had with Mexican food. Every bite was like heaven. It smelled so good I forgot to take a pic before eating it. I got the pizza and it can feed 3 people. I shared it with my partner who can eat for 2 and even he couldn’t finish it. It was very filling and flavorful. If you’re afraid of seasoning do not eat here because they know how to make some food. The mangonada was unreal and the blue raspberry was a recommendation but it was still top tier. I kid you not I could go on forever because this was that good. Highly recommend this place. The guy making the food was also really kind and personable. I spent $40 after a tip and regret nothing.“
“We LOVE this hidden gem. We’re from NJ and come down 2x’s a year. It’s always the first place we go. Guacamole and chips are the BEST! We were here for a month in January and stopped in at least 2 times a week. We’ve had everything on the menu and it is delicious. See you again around Christmas“
“Best torta I have had in a long time! After visiting family in Mexico this month, I had the appetite for a taste of home. I had the pleasure of being served by Dona Bertha herself and I felt at home. I was impressed by the quality of ingredients and service after she mentioned they had opened a year ago in January. The restaurant has beautiful decorations inspired by lotería and traditional Mexican art.“
“Love everything they have there but... The owners son is just so rude he’s always touching his hair while getting whatever we ask for ready, he always opens up late no matter what day it is, he just acts like its such an inconvenience to serve other people and always parks in the handicap area. I have no issues with anyone there or their food. I mean the owner is so sweet and funny but her son just needs to learn how to serve people and stop touching his hair while getting my food ready.“
“My husband and I stopped at Beef's as we have been to a few different ones so we wanted to check out the new one. The food was really good and service was great. I waited to long to write this and I am unsure of her name (Tonya?) She was the bartender today and assistant manager? Definitely will stop back next time we go that way.“
“Amazing tacos! Very authentic and delicious. We got 2 of each taco in corn shells:Chicken - not our favorite, it was a little dryBarbacoa - moist and deliciousPork - moist, very good pork flavorAl pastor - our favorite! Slightly spicy, but moist and such great flavor. Took a little longer than anticipated to get our order but it was worth the wait, next time I will order ahead because we will be back!“
“Went earlier today and got 6 tacos, a burrito, and a drink for about $20, it was a good deal! And the food was great! Also, I was able to pay with a debit card. There’s a photo on here from a year ago of the truck where it says “cash only” but it seems they changed that.“
“There is a new manager here his name is Christopher everything runs as smooth as silk when he is here it's not necessarily that way when he is not there there's a lot of horseplay going on and the food isn't as good where the portions are not very good but when Chris is there everything runs just like it's supposed to Chris should be here all the time“
“We really enjoyed the food we got from Isabel's. Very tasty. Salsa hotter than we prefer, but others might want that. Wish there had been sides of chips, sour cream, or quacamole. Maybe could have ordered separately. Will likely return to order food again!“
