Bertha's Kitchen Authentic Mexican Restaurant

All I ate was a tamale, but it was the best tamale I've ever had. She even gave me a side of cheese sauce to dip it in. I had never thought of doing that before.

Quesabirria tacos and the Al pastor tacos were very good. Chips and salsa at the beginning of the meal were a little lacking. The salsa was a bit watery. Service was good, everyone was very nice and they were attentive during our meal.

This is what the Toastitos look like . Not happy . Soggy and looks very un appetizing . I should have listened to what people actually said about this place , that it isn’t good .

I have only ordered twice using door dash. I must say the food is outstanding. I only with they had lengua.

Today was my second visit, last week I grabbed some tacos to go for a late breakfast…chorizo&egg on flour, Al Pastor and Barbacoa on corn 🔥 the sautéed onion was a perfect plus.
Went back this afternoon for to go tacos…crispy Tripa and Lengua…on corn. Rockin!!!
I can’t wait to go back to catch their happy hour and eat in. Great service, friendly folks and legit cuisine. Don’t miss out!

Passing through on a Tuesday, so of course we needed tacos! This place will not disappoint! Service was excellent, food was excellent too. Pricing was very fair. If we drive this way again, we will definitely stop!

The tacos were good with great flavor, the service was excellent. The atmosphere could be better. I did not care for the old table cloths it gave a dingy vibe. That would not stop me from going there again. The food was great!

Best breakfast on Sundays we always get takeout ready within 10 minutes of placing the call everything is always there never disappointed once you get home eating there is just as good love the atmosphere and the people that own it they are very kind

Bertha’s is your typical mom & pop Mexican restaurant. However, it’s not typical for Florida. Let me explain. Most Mexican restaurants in Florida are not open for breakfast. Most Mexican restaurants in Florida do not make their own flour AND corn tortillas in house. Most Mexican restaurants in Florida that happen to serve breakfast don’t offer breakfast tacos. Breakfast tacos are very very rare in Florida and they’re one of the best things ever. Bertha’s offers all of the above. Their flour tortillas were wonderful and I ordered one potato and egg taco and one chorizo and egg taco. They were delicious and tasted just like home (South Texas border). One thing to keep in mind: if you order a soda, they serve it in cans and do not offer free refills. It’s not a deal breaker and is common with small family owned restaurants. But wanted to give anyone reading this review a heads up so they can adjust their drink order if this is an issue.

The food was excellent. The absolute best enchiladas, tacos,and chili relenos.
