Having come to visit immediate family here for many, many years, somehow we never visited this facility. We went for drinks and dinner on Saturday night and had a wonderful experience in all respects to include quality of food, beverage and service, ambiance, friendliness and professionalism of the staff, menu choices and price quality relationship. We will now become regular clients of the Club and will recommend it highly to our friends! It was a terrific dining experience!
Four of us had dinner here on Christmas eve and enjoyed outside tables. There were not many guests. Even though we had reservations for 7:30 PM, the entire service seemed quite slow from start to finish. I even got up once to ask for the table to be cleared and the dessert menu to be brought out. I thought the food (fish, lobster, and burgers) were just okay once they arrived. Perhaps judging a restaurant by its Christmas eve service is not fair, but I would not hurry back.
This is new home of Mat and Sheila, the husband and wife team that created and ran the Patio at PBPCC. They (and many of the servers and waitstaff) from the Patio are now running the food service at the Clubhouse of the PBPCC. The restaurant is open to the public, though priority for reservations are given to the club members. The cuisine and style are similar to the old Patio, though the setting is now air conditioned and somewhat more formal. Outside seating is also available....
