Tried Umu recently and it absolutely delivered.
The Smokey Dragon roll was layered, flavorful, and perfectly balanced from the first bite to the last. The Rising Sun surprised me with how clean and bright it tasted while still bringing a satisfying kick.
Fresh fish, thoughtful combinations, and a menu that feels curated rather than crowded. Umu is the kind of spot you remember and come back to. Definitely worth a visit in Wesley Chapel.

The service is kind, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. The food is extremely fresh and hits the spot every time. The Yuzu Salmon from the sushi appetizers melts in your mouth and is a must get. The Lobster is a terrific sushi roll and worth the price. Customers have enjoyed the unique cold green tea with no sugar, which adds to the experience. The serving size is perfect, and the rice and prep are excellent. Many customers will continue to return multiple times. The Panang Curry with Tofu had nicely firm tofu that stood up well to the sauce. The rolls and sashimi tasted extraordinarily fresh and featured high-grade fish. The dessert, such as the creme brûlée, was surprisingly great with its thick outer shell perfectly caramelized. The Sake selection is exceptional, and everything is composed creatively. Customers will keep returning with friends and family for relaxing meals in the future.
