Visited during the holiday weekend on a friend's suggestion. The menu was very incomplete, it only mentioned the main protein and either a single vegetable or a sauce.

Unfortunately both entrees came with other items included (some unknown until we asked).

For example, my dish mentioned ZERO vegetables yet came with shredded carrots, water chestnuts, green peppers, and shredded mushrooms (supposedly, looked more like stringy seaweed).

Nonetheless, took too much time picking out items.

My friend asked what came in her dish, as she has a severe pepper (vegetable) allergy. Her dish (per the menu came with snow peas). Yet, even after asking, was not told of the other items, like carrots, bamboo, etc.

This is why only 3 stars (we were not given the info we requested).

Will we return? Possibly to try another dish. However, not in the near future.

Food was fantastic, service was great and the price was good for such big portions. Will definitely visit them again.

Note: Would’ve given 5 stars but they forgot one of our appetizers and only brought it out right before we paid and were ready to leave. Tasted amazing regardless.

One of a few great Chinese restaurants in Florida. I didn't try dim sum yet- just some quality Chinese dishes. All made from scratch with fine ingredients and not oily. Totally recommend! Excellent hot and sour soup is that's your thing.

Ordered pork siomai it does not taste and look like pork. It is dark brown chewy with so much binder. Snow peas tips not the tips they put mostly the hard stem. Crispy pork belly is hard. We used to eat often in this place and back then was good. I think they have a new owner and the food is not good anymore. China sea is even better. Never again!

Ordered takeout of Crispy Duck, sautéed string beans, Shanghai soup dumplings and boneless ribs. The duck was crisp and well seasoned , as well as, nice size cuts of duck. The string beans were crisp but not raw and very tasty. The soup dumplings were very good as was the boneless ribs. Ribs were nice bite size pieces and not small thin strips as other places generally sell. I come to Grand Lake often and it keeps getting better and better.
Wish they would serve Crabs Cantonese one day. IYKYK.

Great food, great service! They’ll let you know if you want more authentic or American style Chinese. Never had a bad meal here.

Ignore the low review numbers here. This IS GREAT! JUST GREAT!
Im a well traveled dim sum lover, China, San Fran, Vancouver, NYC, Boston, etc. And this is the second best dim sum I've had anywhere in the world, the best being in Beijing.
The bad numbers are due to a previous owner. The new owner has completely turned it all around.
Only disappointment, no soup dumplings, but a small issue as the other items we'll make up for it.
If you love dimsum GO, SOON! If im wrong, feel free to skewer me, but I know you wont be sorry.

It's probably the best New York style Chinese rice in the area. But their prices are high, they have sharing fees if you eat in, they charge you 3% more if paying by CC and the language barrier with the servers is bad.

Their chive and shrimp dumplings were incredible.

Great dim sum and extensive menu. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

Under new ownership AGAIN…we tried it last night and was not impressed at all, mostly Caucasian patrons w only one other Asian besides us.
The staff is not knowledgeable about the menu, and we asked if they would make a pretty standard dish not listed and was told no without asking the kitchen.
Within 2 minutes after ordering, they bring the chicken and eggplant dish which clearly isn’t ours, we have to wait down another server as the kids just drops it on the table. 5 minutes later they bring another chicken and eggplant which we said we’d like put appetizers first, so they take it back once again.
Eggroll: pretty small and ok
Pan fried dumplings, well done: barely fried, the filling while tasty has so much filler you couldn’t tell what type of meat was actually used as it was a pale light color!
Chicken w/ eggplant in garlic sauce: we said no extra heat so it came out w more of a bland brown sauce, no garlic, not much flavor.
Oh well…it’s ok for American Chinese cuisine.

If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a great place. The restaurant is clean and the food is very good. The waitress who served us was friendly, and it's a good option to go and enjoy a meal with company.

First time order from here. Such a disappointment. Purchased Sweet and Sour Pork. Sauce was water like with mostly taste of vinegar. Lots of pork included but I was unable to chew any of it. The included “fried rice” was only rice, with no onion sprouts or any other vegetables. For this I ended up paying $33.00 on Uber Eats.

Last three times I ordered online, it was not acted upon until I reached the restaurant and an employee looked at her phone and found the order!!

I requested a discount for their error, I was only given 10% off. Must less than the 15% Custom Fee. Who knows that this charge is for!!

After coming here for about two decades, I will find a new place to order my Chinese food.

My wife and I went for a Sunday dinner and everything was excellent. We started off with Crab Rangoon, egg rolls and pan fried dumplings. Then for main course we had General Tso's and ordered pork fried rice. Everything came out fast , fresh and hot. IMHO the best Chinese food around. This will be my new go-to for Chinese.
