Jay's Pizza & Pasta

The reviews were good on line so I decided to try it. I am from NY and am very picky about my pizza. I have to say, this pizza had NO flavor whatsoever. I tried a reg slice and a Sicilian slice. I also bought garlic knots and there was hardly any garlic on them. I would call them just knots. If you’re from up north, don’t waste your time or money. A friend of mine, also from NY who lives over there said she would have told me not to go.

Today was my first time in this pizza establishment and not the last! They definitely made a good first impression! Very clean restaurant. The atmosphere was great from the start it felt like a true Italian pizzeria. The pizza was fresh and just delicious not too doughy like most pizza places! And lastly the owner of this establishment was very attentive to my husband and I. My husband being a foreigner himself felt right at home here! We will definitely be back!

My 2nd visit in 3 months and 1st review
The great pepperoni pizza the first time brought me back for a large Jay’s supreme pizza.
Was warmly greeted again, was told about 20 minutes wait time again ( gave me time to pick up something at Publix and get gas.
Returned to a freshly made pizza and away I went back to my office for a rainy day pizza lunch and some to share at home with my wife later.
Great pizza, family owned, will be back soon!

This is my go to favorite pizza joint. Strongly recommend. Food is always good. Large Pineapple and bacon and a half cheese half pepperoni is my usual. Depending if my inlaws are eating dinner with us.

Unfortunately, we will never give them our business again due to the nasty response we got when my husband called. We ordered delivery because he's recovering from surgery and can't drive right now.
Ordered at 6:30 pm, had to call to ask where our order was at 7:50, order arrived at 8:05 by the lady i spoke to one phone (even though she told me HE was on his way already). 3 slices of pizza and soda delivered...cold.

$24.00 and an hour and a half wait for 3 slices of cold pizza.

When he called to complain that the order was late AND cold and he wants his money back...the lady immediately had an attitude with him and said "Fine, I'll give you your money back and never call here again"...then hung up on him. No apology...just attitude.

Worst customer service from the older woman. Everyone else we've ever dealt with has been amazing there. An apology and refund goes a long way, but now...
We'll take our business elsewhere to a small business who appreciates and takes care of their customers who have been LOYAL to them over the years.

Best Sicilian pizza I’ve had in Florida. I’m from Howard Beach, NY and Jay’s Sicilian is as good as the best pizzerias in Howard Beach! I highly recommend it!

A hardworking family owned and operated Pizza and Pasta restaurant in the Publix Shopping Center that is absolutely amazing! I love their NY Style pizza and their garlic knots! Delicious! Their service is always friendly and efficient! It has a real NYC pizza joint vibe! Seating inside and outside! TV’s, wine and beer! Very affordable! A great value! Lots of easy parking!I love their slices, it’s a great lunch deal and they are delicious! Perfect blend of cheese and sauce and it’s a perfect “NY fold” to eat it.. I love their garlic knots so light and fluffy and huge!They have a huge menu- something for everyone!I definitely recommend! It’s important to support our local family business! Especially when they are delicious!
