“BLACK people be ware for bar seating. The food is good, drinks are tasty, and honestly the service wasn’t bad. However, what I found odd was being asked for my card to hold on file after ordering my initial drink. I didn’t see an issue with it at first, thought it was restaurant policy, no problem. That was until I watched 4 Caucasian people leave the restaurant cashing out without having received a card back. I thought maybe I missed the interaction. But no, a new pair of Caucasian guest join the bar, order a beer and received the beer WITHOUT providing a card.

Now when I brought this to the attention of the bartender that just clocked in; my initial one was elsewhere. She had 20 reasons ready to regurgitate like she’d been practicing on her way to work. She assured me it was nothing other than they have expensive ingredients and don’t want to have to foot the cost should someone run out on their tab and that the new couple sitting without a card in the register had to be a simple oversight. I smell BS and in today’s climate I much respect overt racism and discrimination over covert. The devil you know..

Anyhow, Christina is the name on my receipt.- not sure if she was the one with the excuses or the one that took my card, either way, if you’re Black, you may want to dine in or find elsewhere to eat.“
