Pistache's food is consistently a perfect 100—our appetizers, entrees, and desserts were, as usual, phenomenal. It's a shame the service didn't live up to the same standard. The staff's lack of attention was a significant letdown, but the stunning and peaceful outdoor seating was a saving grace. With service that matches the quality of the food, this restaurant would unquestionably earn a perfect 5-star rating, instead of the 3-star rating that I submitted.
Everything was delicious and I'm still dreaming about the chocolate mousse. The only thing was that we were never refilled any water and the food was not bagged properly causing all of the oils to drip through the paper bag.
Pistache used to be one of my favorite restaurants a few years back, and I was really looking forward to going back this past Saturday with my family. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I started with the steak tartare, which came out runny and overly acidic—very different from what I remember it being in the past. My wife had the steak frites. While the steak was cooked to the correct temperature, the quality of the meat felt subpar and lacked seasoning. Service...
