Weakest and worst AA I have had the misfortune of experiencing in ten years globally. So sad. I moved to Florida six months ago and the first time I tried to attend a meeting here, I walked in to a dark room about 15 minutes before a meeting was to start. There were two old guys sitting there, and when I asked if there was a meeting they told me that the leader didn’t show up so they weren’t having a meeting tonight, and that the same thing happened the week before. Any other place on the planet somebody else takes over and leads the meeting, you don’t cancel a meeting because the leader doesn’t show up. Pathetic. Second time I tried to attend a meeting here the same situation with the dark room and two people there who told me that the meeting was canceled because of wind, this was early summer and before hurricane season, and there was no hurricane. I’ve never heard of a meeting being canceled because of wind. Really sad. You would go out and get a bottle of vodka if it was windy out, wouldn’t you? Yesterday, I tried to go to 5 o’clock meeting , that was on the website, and also on the Meeting Guide app. After waiting for half an hour during an unbelievably contentious and hostile business meeting, and having to listen to that, I was then advised the meeting that was on the website and the Meeting Guide app no longer existed and hasn’t been in existence for at least six months. Clearly, no one is in charge at this place, it is run unbelievably disgracefully, and no one cares enough to update the app and the Intergroup site. Three times I tried to attend meetings there (from Singer Island) and three times there was no meeting, BUT the Intergroup Site and app showed there was. I will never go there again. Can you imagine if I was a newcomer trying to go to a meeting for the first time? Really sad and pathetic and honestly the weakest AA I’ve ever experienced globally. I’ve never seen anything like it. TREMENDOUS FIRST IMPRESSION!! THEY DO NOT CARE AND IT SHOWS😢

First time AA, went to 7am, noon and evening. 3 meetings in one day. Everyone was so welcoming. Going again 7am and noon. Found out my neighbor hosts meetings at his home Tuesday and Thursday at 6. I'll be there also. Drinking is hard to quit on your own, It may be not even possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Triangle Club.

If you are new to AA the Friday night Central Group is NOTfor you! I feel like some of the older members have forgotten what it’s like to be a new member. They can be mean, when new when new members share. As many treatment centers go to this meeting, you would think there would be more patience and tolerance for new members. Week after week I have observed members of this group make fun of, and mock new members.

I've spent Thanksgiving here and other special days and I tell you that it has the best environment and people. I love it. I couldn't recommend it more. The food is great, it's clean and has the feeling of community that you have at a bar, but without the inebriation. Still full of Drunks lol. If you need a friend you can find one here.

This is how a fundraiser for you mocks a mother and her children who are victims of domestic violence. Regardless of my beliefs, for her to come after my children is deplorable. I’d rethink any association with her.

The Triangle club is a very comfortable place to attend AA meetings. It is very cordial & involved in helping the newcomer. Triangle regulars are very receptive in greeting newcomers. They make you feel safe & comfortable here. Snack bar is a plus, hopefully open up for full food menu soon. Avid parking is plentiful.
