The best jerk food and sauce I’ve had in South Florida. I recommend
Love this place but really wish they had a non jerk option cause man that shit is so spicy cant really enjoy it it is affordable and give alot of food but way to spicy for people who dont eat spicy food
The only ribs n chicken I would ever eat from is Tallys, flavorful, cost sufficient, and great portions. 5 star in my book
I got Jerk chicken and ribs. Ribs seasoned really well.
He's been in business over 25 years. For jerk chicken & ribs & pork really good. Seasoned well, fresh off the grill. His sauce is good, but I like walkerswood jerk sauce better. The fried festival is great.
Love this place
The food used to taste great and amazing. After not being here for years, I come back to try it and my immediate experience is with a very rude chef! Not worth it for food that now tastes mediocre at best... The upside is that the owner was very polite in addressing my initial concern correctly after unnecessary rude attitude from the chef.. updating my review: against my better judgment, tried it again. Absolutely, the last time! I will never return to this place. I remember starting to go here and buy ribs when it was literally just Chef Tally, a barbecue pit and his truck. It's disheartening to even say that the quality of the cutting has changed the way that they cut the ribs. Maybe it's the quality of the ribs themselves and where they're getting them from, but they definitely don't look like some of the pictures that are clearly misrepresented here now 2025.
Tried the pork ribs and chicken.. 10/10!!
Festival is good too.. large portions too
I drove 40 minutes from South Beach just to try this chef tally food truck, and let me tell you—it was totally worth it. I arrived right during the dinner rush and waited in line for about an hour, but I was just glad they hadn’t sold out by the time I got to the front!
I ordered the large chicken and the large chicken & ribs combo. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The sauces were a standout—sooo good with just the right amount of heat. I'm a big pepper sauce fan, and theirs did not disappoint. I also appreciated the variety of sauces available.
Another thing I noticed (and appreciated): they were really clean and organized. The staff cleaned the sauce bottles frequently and made sure everything stayed stocked and tidy, even during the rush.
I’m so happy I finally made the trip out here—this place lives up to the hype. I’ll definitely be back soon!
The food is always good and plentiful. The line moves relatively fast. Take-out only! They are famous for the jerk seasoning used to BBQ the meat.
