We've been regulars here for a long time and usually love both the food and the service. Unfortunately, our visit this past Saturday was very disappointing. The service was slow, inattentive, and far below what we've come to expect. It was surprising because this has always been one of our go to places, but this experience left us frustrated. Hopefully, it was just an off night and not the new standard, because we'd love to continue coming back.
A friend told me about this place and since it was close to the house, my cuz and I decided to go. I was impressed with the level of service and friendliness this place offers. From the 2 friendly hostesses, to our initial sit down with Lorent, and the super friendly Maria. We arrived prior to the ending of happy hour and we were able to order 2 drinks. I got the spicy mamacita while my cuz got the watermelon martini. Both were done well by Maria who was helping in the bar. There was a large party and she was helping. She came over and took out order for the Skin Churrasco for 2. We ordered it medium and it came out on a wok structure with a heated rick or charcoal underneath. It was well presented and the steak came out extremely good. It was flavorful and soft. We also had mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. We truly had a nice dining experience there. They doncharge an automatic 18% gratuity. Ia have to mention Luis who has such a positive attitude. They all deserve good praise! Normally I am not a fan because it makes the workers lazy. This place was the contrary. The deserved the auto tip and more. We finished with molten lava cake. If we could, we would have stayed longer but we had to leave. This is truly a gem here in Weston FL.
Met up with friends for dinner at Baires. Our friends had never been before, and one of them is very particular about food — but both really enjoyed their meals. He ordered the skirt steak and raved that it was cooked perfectly to his liking. His wife had pasta, which she said was very good. I also went with the skirt steak and was not disappointed. Overall, a great place with delicious food and a pleasant experience.
Had to ask for a napkin to clean the booth seat, it had bread and rice. Unacceptable. Mediocre food. Ordered beef Milanese. They brought the chicken. It was corrected quickly but I should have kept the chicken. The Milanese was not crispy it was drenched in oil. Don't bother with the carpaccio. Service not attentive- maybe she had too many tables. Restaurant was quite warm. We are Floridians and our backs were sweating on the booth. Wanted to really like this spot since this was a business dinner, but sadly we will not visit in future.
Diners beware! This is one of those establishments that will automatically add 18% to your check (even for just a table for two and then try to con you into leaving an additional tip at the end. Once you factor in tax, a $100 check ends up closer to $150. That's a surprise. The atmosphere is very nice, our server was a bit inexperienced and inattentive. You should not have to flag your server down for simple things like another refill in your drink or to bring some salt and pepper to the table.
Great food with excellent service. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the live music made the experience even more enjoyable.
Baire's is consistently good. Their drinks are delicious. We also bring our own wine and their corkage fee is very reasonable. Our server was Flavio and he was very good and attentive. I had the tuna steak which was prepared rare and was Outstanding. My husband had the entrana which he loves. For dessert we had the Almendrado which is just the right size and refreshing to end our dinner.
Service was slow but gracious. Manage discounted our bill and this was appreciated. The quinoa salad with chicken is overpriced. The quinoa was $19 and was a cup of quinoa and that's it. Plus a charge for chicken. Blue cheese sauce was an additional $5 and we were not informed of this and adding broccoli was not an included side and there was a fee for that. Gratuity also included in a party of 3.
We had a great experience dining at Baires. Our server, Natalia, was great. She helped guide us through their menu and was very attentive to our needs while we dined. We shared the octopus which was perfectly grilled and served with a "secret" sauce that is absolutely delicious. The portions were great and more than enough to share when dining for two. We also shared the Bosc pear salad which was the perfect salad for a hot Summer day in Florida. The greens combined with the poached pear and candied nuts were a perfect combination. We each had a pasta dish as our main entrees. I had the tortellini stuffed with prosciutto and my guest had the short rib pasta. Both pasta dishes were cooked to perfection and the flavors from the sauce were outstanding. We were too full to try dessert but we hope to come back soon to try their amazing desserts as well.
We are still scratching our heads. Menu item prices are not reflected on final invoice. Bill was consistently $3-4 more for each item and now they include an 18% tip. Where we used to tip 20 or better for Weston this feels invasive but enjoy the 18% tip

We went on a whim as it was near our hotel. What a surprise. Lovely ambiance, fantastic drinks, amazing food. We liked it so much that we came back two days later. On the second night, live music started at 7 and it was great too. Easy parking. A great vibe. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious as always, great service! Table was not that great but the restaurant was full.
Meat had no flavor. Requested medium well and it came well done. Waiter messing most of the time. Charging extra 18% without warning and with a disappointing dining experience, bummer. Ruined my date.
Wonderful restaurant, great food and service, specially if you seat outside facing the lake. Highly recommended.
Filet Mignon was dry, cold and overcooked. Presentation of the food was subpar. Mixed salad, octopus and beef carpaccio was good. Filet seemed like it had been cooked before and then reheated.
