Great Mexican restaurant with cool atmosphere and great food! Definitely worth a visit!

Food was decent, hot sauce was great, service was less than desirable, staff was nice but just hanging out and not paying attention. We were served salsa but no chips, ordered guacamole and still didn’t get chips. Fish tacos were mini tacos, Birria tacos the corn tortillas were soggy (fell apart) and not crispy, but everything tasted good. Probably won’t be returning.

Only giving this place a 2 stars because the server was very attentive and had a good attitude.

The atmosphere is ok, we went on a Friday which was “Karaoke” night, the music was EXTREMELY loud. We asked if they could lower the volume just a bit since not even the waitress could hear us when we were trying to order our food. Then we found ourselves screaming the whole night because we couldn’t even have a conversation with the other couple we went. The night was ok, but there was no need for a place SO small to have the music at the extreme level.

The food was quite a disappointment, I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which any Mexican restaurant would have as the simplest dish. Well, they got it all wrong (see pictures) first, they came out with half a shrimp per slice of quesadilla. I was speechless. I told the waitress, which was also speechless when I showed her the plate. She then brought it back, the decided to not even heat up the quesadilla again, there was no “melting cheese” and the tortilla was soggy and cold. It was very upsetting.

Then, the check came, we were four adults sitting with only four plates and some chips and guacamole. They decided to charge us automatically a “large party fee of 20%”, that just ended the night for us on the worse note. I do not recommend this place, there is no need to provide such poor service in quality of food and over charge people for fees that do not even make sense.

I went to Guajacatacos and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was Karaoke Friday ¡Canta y Encanta con Juanda!, so we sang a lot and had so much fun. Juanda, the karaoke host, was amazing.

We had a wonderful time overall. Sammy also took great care of us; he was very kind and gave us excellent recommendations on the menu. Highly recommend this place for great food, fun vibes, and outstanding service!

Stopped in on a Thursday, in town on business. Atmosphere of resturant is nice. Very colorful decor and plenty of seating.

Waitress was nice and pretty attentive in between personal phone calls, lol.

The birria tacos came as a recommendation from waitress. Initially was going to order other type of tacos but she recommended those instead. Hmm, ok. I feel like this may been to increase bill vs. an “upgrade” from tacos I was originally going with. For anyone who has had great birria/birria tacos, these were NOT it. They were “OK” but certainly not worth $21.95. Even the side consumé lacked any flavor.

Overall, chips & salsa, birria tacos and bottle of Coke with tip $40. Single diner…way too much for what it’s worth.

My daughter in law highly recommended this restaurant. We were here visiting from Florida. I wanted Mexican food. It did not disappoint! I have no complaints! Food was delicious, drinks were on point, service was outstanding, and the price was reasonable. When I visit again, I will definitely choose this restaurant. Try it! You'll be glad you did..🥘

Cute place, delicious food, amazing service. Michelle was our server and she did a great job attending to us carefully. Staff sang happy birthday and played music which felt special.

The family and I were looking for a local Mexican place to try for lunch. Very cute decor, only three tables full when we came in. We did wait for someone to take our drink order, but food came out fast. Food was very food, the only complaint was the service. Nobody came to check on us at all during our meal. My husband had to go and ask for refills for the kids. We would have ordered two more beers, but she never came back until we were completely done with our meals, and we were the only table there. Again, food was good, but the service was not.

Great deal on beef, chicken and pork tacos at $2.99 each on Tuesdays. 2 for 1 beer was a great deal at $2.99 if you don't mind flat beer and limited selection (corona, modelo or Heineken) Fish tacos had a $1.50 uncharge and contained the equivalent of popcorn chicken but with tiny pieces of breaded fish. Salsa selection served on the side was excellent but would be better if it were served with a few tortilla chips as is customary at many other Mexican restaurants. If you don't speak Spanish, communication might be an issue with one of the two servers. With only a classic Margarita and 3 draft beers on the Happy Hour menu,, this would not be reason enough to drive the extra miles.
