GuacaTacos - Mexican Cantina

We went on a Thursday night for my birthday, very fun place, they sing out a hat on me and sign like mariachi for the birthday song🥳🤣❤️ loved it

For the food, we ordered:

Fajitas for 1 and fajitas for 2: veryyyy generous amount of food, my husband ordered the one for 1 and was able to take home leftovers for the other day. Same with the one for two, I would say you can either take home some or eat 3, the only thing is that you would have to ask for more tortillas. 5/5

Birria tacos: comes with 4, very generous amount, also comes with the consome so you can dip it, so good😍 5/5

GuacaTacos tacos: comes with 3, we ordered to pastor and one carnitas on soft taco, they were good too. 4/5

Chimichanga: sooo crunchy, very nice, also good portion for one person, my abuela took some home too!

Margaritas: they were normal honestly, simple ones nothing out of the ordinary.

The service was good, the server was so nice and explaining everything, only thing was a little delayed on bringing the food out, the plates were ready sitting there for a while, I had to ask to get one warm again, because the ladies were just on their phone, while the guy was doing drinks and serving other people.

Either than that, everything else was very good.

Also for the prices if you are drinking it gets a little price, we pay like $40 per person only one drink each.

I wanted to like this place I really did! The service was great while placing my order! When I got home to try the food… I was disappointed… I’m a birria girl & have gone to hot spots for the best birria… girl save your money! This place is expensive & the birria was disgusting! The meat was tough and had no seasoning, barely any cheese, & each birria taco broke about as I tried to pick each one up! Let’s not get into the elote… I know what elote has in it, & again, it just wasn’t it! The corn was overcooked, too much butter, and there was too much seasoning & cheese! It was waaaay too salty for me! I have had elote also from other places & this was the worst I’ve had tbh. When I called to tried to explain how I didn’t like that food and wanted a refund I was told to call back that day at 3pm, when the manager would be there! I call back and it’s 3:30 and now all of a sudden the manager won’t be there until Monday! So you mean to tell me, if there is an issue on the weekend with food, all of the customers will have to wait until Monday for anything to be done… I guarantee you that is not how everything is handled with everyone! The service started off great but when it comes to you explaining to some places that food wasn’t what was expected all of that goes out of the door! Customer service is need throughout the entire process dealing with a customer! Idk if the language barrier was the main issue but I am not dumb and I know what I was told to do as far as speaking with management. Then the guy, Juan, who told me to call back at 3pm ended up speaking to me and said he was there before 3pm! Why would you tell me to call after 3pm if he was there before 3pm when I originally called at 12:30pm! AVOID THIS PLACE! I’m telling you… if you are a birria person… find another spot that will make birria the right way! Terrible terrible! I also got a 2 for 1 special on drinks & that was fine, but for all of this to be $50, I am pissed! No care to resolve my issue until days later…

It’s okay. Perfectly serviceable. Table side guac is prepared without much salt and needs more lime or heat. Tacos are okay. Pork belly is dry and hard, lightly seasoned; al pastor is mall kiosk adequate; chicken is dry, but not chewy.

Pretty average Mexican restaurant. The food is not too bad. Portions are a bit small for the price. They have karaoke night which is fun.
