Mary the hostess was very accommodating and pleasant in getting my sister and I a table with no reservations. The chef and the waiter were excellent as well. I appreciate the all around good service by the staff on a Sunday night!

The service was amazing. Everyone is so very nice and I really enjoyed Mary. She was very nice to us and she was very accommodating. We came in late with no reservation and she still was able to see us. She was just all around very customer service worthy and I'd like to give her an accolade because she really is nice and I appreciate how she is with customers.

Met with family for dinner here and it was my first time. I've been to other Hibachi places but first time at Japan Inn. The vibe was nice, the service great and the food even better! It was more entertaining than other places I've been to. Will definitely be back ??

Busy and not a surprise, perhaps because of the value and uniqueness of the experience. Noisy place, though, forget about normal conversation. Service was stretched on this visit, but at least we were seated on time along with the server displaying a positive attitude. Podium staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. Dining options were fairly priced with plenty of variety. Asked about MP on the twin lobster tails and pricing was out of line with the other items on the menu (so passed). The chef and show were good. Staff remembered our birthday request, which too many restaurants forget!

I have been a regular for more than 15 years and today I decided to eat at this place Japan inn in Weston Florida. The last I was there was about 6 month ago and met the area manager who was working at the sushi bar and he was very nice and friendly, he was from Venezuela. I was told by him that the dinner roll I always orders prior to them changing ownership was still available and to ask the manager for it. Although the special is not part of the new menu it is still in the computer and can be added upon request. I walk in today and no one knows what is happening, all new faces and no one cared for offering service or trying to find out about the dinner special. I had both managers looking at themselves and not saying a word, the waitress seem to be happy when I said I am leaving since she smiled and turned away. My parents also used to go almost every day but stopped due to the unhealthy conditions of the food, it is a nighttime and for them to not care when the place was empty and in a middle of a recession it's depressing. The place is wormed down but the attitude of the employees and lack of care and customer service is the worst. The prices are high and they react like you the customer has to ask and beg them for everything and you are the one paying.... Very bad experience... food is left on carts almost touching the floor and right next to the restrooms, cart is about 4 inches from the floor and not covered... horrible!

1 star we arrived at 5:45pm and did get a chef untill 6:45. The people that sat across from us got sat 15 mins after and got a chef and soup and salad before us. I advised once at the front, no results. I tried to talk to a manager no one paid attention.Update 2.23.24Shannon reached out with urgency regarding this matter. Super accommodating and understanding. They welcomed us back and we had Mandy and Soraya attend us. We just left and let me say, they did a wonderful job at ensuing our experience exceeded, within 20 mins we had our drinks, soup/salad and chef. Food was fresh, servers amazing and drinks were amazing. I would highly recommend coming back.

I went for Valentine's Day. It was such a nice experience. All women received a rose as they walked in and was greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. Overall a great time with great food.
Our cook completely ignored us and only spoke to the other party that happened to sit with my friend and I. Only thing he spoke to us about was my mushroom allergy. But kept talking, laughing, joking and everything with the rest of the people. Just found it kind of rude that we sat there first and after awhile they came along and it was like if we weren't there. But the food was all good. But we didn't feel like eating there so we took our food Togo as soon as it was done, then paid and left so the rest can continue to enjoy themselves. It was just a weird uncomfortable feeling to not be included. Oh well.
