The place is very nice! The food had great flavor and arrived very quickly.
We were driving on alligator alley. We wanted to stop for a light bite. Found Lucille‘s online and tried it out. It was great! Kind of like an upscale diner with very friendly staff, great food and good prices.

Our lunch was delicious. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, which was really juicy. And the Candy corn bird named Kevin was entertaining us.

Classic American comfort foods, lots of salads, and sandwiches. Decent place with a huge menu.
Excellent waitresses.
Potato skins were middling, see the pic. They serve quarter-potato skins, which I’ve never seen, and the assembly/presentation was lousy; one of the potato spears had nearly no toppings at all, because instead of scattering the cheese evenly, they just took a handful and threw it in the middle of the plate. Ditto with the small amount of bacon and scallions.
I would have minded less if I hadn’t paid $10.99 for them (expensive in 7/2024).
They also hand a very weird type of salt shaker, a grinder filled with kosher salt, with their names on it (a nice touch), but the salt was difficult to get out which made the grinder pretty useless.
Parking: Hidden in a strip mall, there’s plenty of parking for the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Mostly elderly customers, didn’t see any families with kids.

Good place to have a nice breakfast or brunch. All American style. Great food.
Parking: Good parking options at the commercial center.
Kid-friendliness: Spacious. As it is not a quiet place, in case kids make some noise (by playing or chatting) won’t borrow the other guests.

Weston, FL. Awesome diner vibe! Susan served us very well, checked on us and made great recommendations for dishes. The chicken pot pie, cherry pie, and Greek salad had good homemade flavor. My husband added salt to the pot pie and he said the chicken was long and strings of it got stuck between his teeth. Also the carrot pieces were large and retained more heat than the rest of the dish so he said be careful it might burn my tongue. I didn’t care, I finished the rest of his pot pie. The tables out back overlook the lake and have a bright ambiance. Inside it’s like a New York diner with dark booths, homey decor and 60s hits playing in the background.

We moved down south about 2 years ago & our friends introduced us to Lucille’s. Now we go here often together for brunch and lunch. Everything on the menu is delicious & the portions are large, usually enough to share. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Coming from NYC & NJ, we appreciate a proper diner vibe :) Would definitely recommend!
