I lived there and loved it. Great small town.

Four of us had dinner last night for the very first time. We were exceedingly happy with the delicious food and great service. Two of us had the chicken cacciatore, which was outstanding. One had the salmon which was excellent and the other had the pork and shrimp dish, also excellent.
Our waiter was very good as was Gabriel his assistant. Those of us who have the chicken cacciatore had plenty to bring home. We thought the prices were very reasonable

Atmosphere is wonderful, server (Gerhardt) was excellent but my Chicken Francaise was pretty tough and tasteless as was the bed of linguine it was on. Maybe next time?

We go out with a dozen people for our yearly birthdays... many of us choose this place. Never a bad meal, superb service, also there is a 10% discount if you pay cash. You pay 3% more if you use a credit card so basically it's 13% if you think about it. Really quality food, nice variety, tasty drinks
A little pricey but for what you get, it's totally worth it!

I loved that our club group had just enough entree choices to make it easy. We could spend our time socializing. Everyone said their meals were delicious. We look forward to returning.

There was four of us and because the restaurant side had a private event, we sat on the bar side. The food was delicious. I got the harvest salad with chicken... super yummy! The waitress was awesome too! We would definitely go back!

We were at The Oaks again for a holiday dinner this evening, over the past 3 years we have been guests of our friend to celebrate our holiday meal. We had a new waiter, very nice, not experienced young man. He made several mistakes, but was very pleasant. This was the worst meal we have ever had . The water even tasted strange. The worst of it for two of us was the Crab Cakes. They had to be 90 percent stuffing. And the stuffing was like rubber. The Salmon was so dry, it was hard. I had asked to have my vegetables soft, they were rock hard. All of the food was not warm. My husbandโ€™s Cherry pie was lovely.
If it werenโ€™t for the bread and butter, I would not have had any food. We just arrived home, Iโ€™m eating pizza. Please understand, our host is our friend she too was disappointed, we were too embarrassed to complain, this was her treat. I have had the Crab cakes 4 different times at The Oaks, 2 good, once ok, and this time wasnโ€™t even edible. I have enclosed a photo of what was left on my plate. Everyoneโ€™s plate was left with food. No one asked, how our meal was. Again, we were so embarrassed, we said nothing.

A step back in time atmosphere with great food and the piano player (Michael) takes requests. Michelle is an awesome server. If your a good tipper ask for her. Don't forget to tip Michael as well!

Kinda boring. Will not return if I have a choice

First visit here (on Thanksgiving).

- Service was okay, but the staff was friendly.

- The turkey looked and tasted like heated sandwich meat.

- Stuffing was way too mushy. This was the first time i didnโ€™t finish stuffing lol

- And I recognize canned cranberry sauce anywhere! ๐Ÿ˜ค
