“New to area and just trying to find a lil neighborhood pub to grab a drink in the afternoon before going home and stumbled upon this place and so I first called to see if dog friendly and they Def are.
So, we stopped and were immediately greeted by Matty and he had water for mo my dog in hand.
We went in. First impressions are it's Def a neighborhood type place so that's great.
The few peeps I met were nice. My dog got tons of attention.
So, I tried to order my go to drink of an espresso martini but the bar is so neighborhood they do not make them.
Top shelf liquor is very limited which is a challenge but ??
The drinks were fine and strong.
What made it fun and a place I will Def go back to is the bartender Matty. He's so welcoming and was very friendly and I'm finding that to be rare in WM bars.
My dog had a ball. She refused to get in car leaving.
It's a no smoking bar. I guess that's new and as a long time reformed smoker I'm appreciative. Smoking right out front is fine.
Another nice thing is parking is free unlike most places.

So, overall it's a nice lil bar. Just limited in a few things.“

“It was our first visit to Billy's Tavern. The food was pretty good, especially the clam chowder. I got a steak and cheese with curly fries. I didn't think there was much meat on the steak and cheese, but after eating, it had a good bread to meat ratio. And the curly fries were awesome. My brother had the burger and thought it was dry. What I dislike about it what is the rude bartender. Hopefully, she was having a bad day, and she's not like that all the time. I thought the place was quite busy she said it was slow. but she was the one who was slow.“

THIS YEAR I HONESTLY CAN SAY THINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER THEIR I AM ALWAYS GREETED BY THE AMAZING GIRLS BEHIND THE BAR SAM AND ASPEN AND ANNIE ALWAYS MAKE ME FEEL WELCOME. THIS PAST SUNDAY I CAME ACROSS A BEER BOTTLE ON THE SIDEWALK SO BEING THE NICE GUY I AM I TRIED PICKING UP TO THROW IT AWAY BUT WHEN I PICKED IT UP I ENDED UP SLICING MY THUMB OPEN. WITHIN 60 SECONDS THE MANANGER BOB AND ALL THE BAR GIRLS ARE THEIR MAKING SURE I WAS OK. BOB THE MANANGER WRAPPED MY THUMB TILL I COULD MAKE IT TO THE ER. I THE STAFF HERE IS TOP NOTCH“

Was there last Monday for Karaoke and got to sing a Led Zeppelin song.

“Great local spot! I always prefer a small business. They just are always more attentive and make you feel like you are part of the family. Been coming here for years and it is always a good time. They have good snacks and grilled cheeses with some limited options sometimes. For Thanksgiving, they had a holiday grilled cheese. It is nice when they have food trucks and other events going on like girls night. Definitely stop by on your next night out. Great place!! We love it here!“

“Stopped in to check this little pub out. Sammy Jo was the bartender and she was willing to put the hockey game on. She was very friendly and attentive to all the people at the bar. I was there for a few hours and a lot of people just popped in for a drink or 2 and left. Everybody seemed to be quite happy. Prices were reasonable and it's a nice little pub.“
