Was staying at the Embassy Suites across 17st. Decided to check it out while waiting for check in. Darts and pool and lots of TVs. Ended up staying for a couple of hours. Cold, cheap beer. Cool, local crowd was exactly what the doctor ordered. Stopped back a few times just for a few cold ones and college football. Even did a nightcap 2x. A no-nonsense bar that wont empty your wallet.
Flew in from Detroit late and Village Well was the only place open within walking distance. What a cool place. Pool tables, dart boards, good music and good beer. Very clean and airy. Highly recommend

I came here 3 times in the last month, everyone was great, great service and great atmosphere. Made new friends from Europe and many more countries there. Playing pool ?. Shooting darts, just making great conversations with good people. It's definitely a real pub.
