Absolutely loved this authentic Irish pub!!! Barry was an amazing host, the food was perfect, and the atmosphere made us feel like we were in Ireland!!! Will be back every year during our annual conference. Fish & Chips, Shepard's Pie, Nachos...all amazing!!!
Came here on an early breakfast date to watch some Futbol. The ambiance was great! Very culturally inclined with many Irish and English folks. The breakfast was delicious! I had a great time here watching soccer. If you're looking for a proper British brekky, my boyfriend thinks this is the place!
Best spot in FLD for Premier League match days.

Waxy's Irish Pub is a cozy spot for a meal, offering a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of sports bar and full menu vibe. The food is a highlight, with dishes like the Waxy Burger served quickly and tasting great, with tender meat and fresh toppings. The potato skins and Shepherd's pie are also noteworthy, making for a fulfilling dining experience. While service can be slow at times, with long waits for tables and drinks, the staff are friendly and often go out of their way to make customers feel like family. The Guinness is a standout, with many praising its authentic taste, and the drinks, including Smithwicks and Harp, add to the experience. Overall, Waxy's Irish Pub is a great spot for a meal, with its good food, moderate noise level, and welcoming atmosphere making it a popular choice. The pub also attracts families and has a super relaxed vibe, making it perfect for enjoying football (soccer) games or just hanging out. However, it is recommended to avoid sitting near the door if cigarette smoke is a concern.
