Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’ve been eating here since I was 5 and it was a little stand. I live 2 hours away and come back just for this food. I went today and couldn’t find something I wanted on the menu. The owner knew what I was describing, gave me a sample plate to make sure that’s what I wanted, and then perfected my order with the best customer service. If you haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out!

Stopped in for dinner and we was not disappointed. The steak tacos with the corn tortillas were fantastic. I highly recommend and we will return in the future. The restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and the service was great.

Worse food in a Mexican restaurant‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️. I came here with high hopes based on the previous reviews. Boy was I wrong and now I question the reviews in this app. The tacos were filled with lettuce tomato and cream. Not authentic at all! I’m pretty sure they do that because of the lack of meat. Really, look at the photos. Disgusting. The “papas locals” were crazy burned with what seemed like the grill leftovers on top as the meat. The fries were crispy but that’s it. We ordered a Mexican coke and it had rust on the rim of the bottle. The Jamaica Agua Fresca was really good. We ordered the tres leches and we couldn’t eat it because it was spoiled milk and it tasted like refrigerator. THE most disgusting dessert I’ve ever tasted. Overall this place is either changed management or people have very low,low standards when it comes to their food. Whoever was cooking on 7/22/25 in that kitchen should be ashamed! I also ordered birria and after paying for it they said that they where out of it So I had to order tacos. The cheese sauce was WATERED down so much the chips couldn’t hold it. And the chips were burnt. We left extremely dissatisfied and actually felt scammed because we had prepaid for everything at the window first. Service was good but food was horrible! Save yourself the hassle and go to another taco place, ANY other taco place. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Idk what’s with all the recent negative reviews but im not buying the authenticity of them. We eat there all the time and have never had a problem. The food is always freshly made and delicious. The meat is never weird or fatty like it is at a lot of other restaurants we have tried out nearby. The girls working the counter are always super sweet and accommodating when we ask for things without cheese or sour cream because of an allergy issue. They pack everything to go wonderfully or you can eat there where they have table service in their vibrant and fun atmosphere. You can outside or in. We prefer outside so we can enjoy the chickens running around. This is the best spot in Wimauma, hands down.

They don't have A/C but the chips and queso are great. Fast service and lots of food items to choose from. Not the most flavorful beans and rice but the flour tortillas are delicious.

My husband just ate at this place last week and this is my 3rd visit since then, passed on this place for years. Food is authentic, portions were good and food was delicious. I had the chile rellenos and he had the carnitas and asada. Definitely a hidden gem.

Okay so I'm not a fan of Mexican food usually, I don't find anything great on the restaurants around my area that I could say wow! But this place may have change my mind. I'm glad I was told about it. Is homemade, you can taste the work from scratch, I could be wrong but everything I had was great. I will be back with the family and order some more! Prices and portions are fair. Now I'm curious about their other dishes and see what else I can love. The place is big you can eat inside or outside but maybe what I liked the most, was not the food or the friendly service, it was the rescued cats!!!! I can appreciate a place that has the heart to take care of some cats, sign me up!
