A beautiful restaurant, but the food was barely edible and service was kind of slow. Our servers were all very nice, but we had about three different servers come to our table. For the price we paid, the quality of food was not acceptable. Very over priced and over hyped, I’m actually disappointed because so many people had recommended this place to me.

The place itself has a really nice atmosphere. But then it went downhill, waitress took it order, brought it and then didn't come back until we were done. Didn't bother getting another beer, and we wanted to placer a to go order. But didn't bother because of the service. Also, the food is mediocre at best.

Not so authentic
Azteca provided an amazing dining experience! From start to finish, both the service and food exceeded our expectations and made the evening feel special.
Our server, Annie, was incredibly attentive and friendly, immediately making us feel welcome. The complimentary chips and salsa arrived almost instantly, setting the tone for a seamless and enjoyable meal.
We tried the strawberry margarita and the strawberry dream, and both drinks were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. A standout moment was the freshly prepared guacamole, made tableside by Maria. Her skillful presentation was impressive, and her thoughtfulness shone through when she returned later to ask my boyfriend how he liked the guacamole—it was his first time ever trying it! This personal touch truly stood out!
The main courses arrived quickly and were both savory and satisfying. While I may have indulged a bit too much in the chips, salsa, and guacamole, I appreciated that they provided to-go containers so we could enjoy the leftovers later.
Overall, this was a fantastic first-time experience for me. My boyfriend has been raving about Azteca for a while, and now I see why. Although Azteca is a chain restaurant, the Winter Garden location truly sets itself apart with its exceptional service and thoughtful touches. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Food was amazing and the staff was nice. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all around is because our server kept having a food runner/busser come check on us a few times but she spoke absolutely zero English and anytime we needed something she would go get the server and we'd have to repeat our request. We got no refills because of this and took us about 15 mins to get ketchup for my daughter. Yes I'm aware it's a Spanish restaurant lol but I think staff should know what it means when someone points at the literal thing they need and they can't comprehend that. It just seems like half our time there was someone else chasing down our server for things like napkins and ketchup which I'm sure tied up our server even more and really doesn't help with efficiency throughout the entire restaurant. Other than that our experience was great and I'd definitely go back, the food was amazing and authentic in my opinion.
