I drive all the way from Maitland and Apopka just to eat here. The Jerk chicken is the BEST. The bark is nice, charred, and flavorful. The brown stew is savory, and the rice and peas are cooked through and well. The service is always friendly and everything is always CLEAN.

Very disappointed, our minds was set on the jerk chicken. When ordering, the jerk was not ready until another hour, wait time for curry shrimp or coconut shrimp was 30 - 40 minutes to be made, and festivals wasn't ready. This was at 12:30pm. The food is great there but the service and the wait time is ridiculous. As a business you know food suppose to be ready and cooked upon opening. Ended up leaving with nothing because it was very frustrating.

Visited the Silver Star location last night. We ordered two large oxtail dinners. Everything was absolutely amazing! Dinner came with rice and peas, bananas, cabbage and dumplings. Very generous portions and amazing flavor. Everyone working was pleasant and professional. Definitely our go to 🩷

I ordered a large red peas soup, and I basically got all liquid with no meat and no food.

The catering we ordered for our party was a great experience and absolutely delicious. The prices were extremely fair. The amount of food was more than we could have asked for. We had 40 people at the party and had tons of leftovers. Everyone raved about how delicious, unique and authentic the food was.

If you're in Winter Garden and looking for delicious Caribbean food this is the place. The Jerk chicken is delicious and the serving size is huge and at a decent price. The staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel like family.

Today will be the last time I ever buy food from Caribbean Sunshine Restaurant. I ordered a large brown stew chicken with rice and peas specifically requesting no salad or steamed vegetables yet they still included steamed vegetables. This is the third time the kitchen staff has ignored my order instructions, and it’s extremely frustrating.

In addition, I ordered a jerk chicken box. When I got home, my wife and I each made a plate, but we couldn’t eat the jerk chicken. It tasted spoiled and had no resemblance to authentic jerk seasoning it was truly unpleasant. We ended up throwing the entire box away. The only saving grace was the brown stew chicken.

In short, if you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food where you can actually see your plate being prepared and where the food tastes as it should you’re better off going to Flavors Jamaican Restaurant or cooking at home.

They ran out of what I wanted (jerk chicken) but the food I did get.... Curry goat and oxtail were very good!! Very very friendly staff!!! Will be back. Dined in and the atmosphere was good

I can't say enough good things about the Caribbean Sunshine Eatery in Winter Garden, Florida. This place truly is a hidden gem! While the high-quality, delicious food is exactly what you'd expect from the Caribbean Sunshine brand I've loved since childhood, this location offers so much more.

Beyond the amazing cuisine, I was delighted to discover their charming dining room and outdoor patio. While perusing their website for catering options, I noticed they also host events—and just in time for my dad's 81st birthday party! I was able to secure the venue with about a month's notice, and speaking with the owner, Mrs. Karen, made the entire planning process a breeze. She and her husband are so cool, hospitable, and professional. Not only did she help me finalize the menu and food quantities, but she also provided great recommendations for decorations and music and even offered some helpful cost-saving tips. We were all touched when her husband stopped by and recognized my father!

On the day of the event, the setup was more than I could have imagined. They had everything perfectly arranged, even including extra fans and tents to keep everyone comfortable in the heat. It felt just like being back on the beautiful island of Jamaica, with the only thing missing being a refreshing ocean breeze. The ample parking made it easy for everyone to get there, and the staff was professional, accommodating, and went above and beyond for both me and my guests. In fact, everyone loved the food so much that several people ordered extra food to take home! I've received nothing but rave reviews from my family and guests about the party, and I truly hope to host another gathering at this venue since my family enjoyed it so much.

If you're looking for a venue to host a party or event with an authentic island vibe and consistently delicious food, this is the place. You won't be disappointed!
