Apparently, the manager had an issue that my husband and I were sitting outside of the barber shop along the street with a crying baby, which happens to be beside the outdoor seating area for the restaurant...at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. There are hundreds of people trying to enjoy the area on the weekend, including babies...that cry. I've never in my life encountered such back-handed behavior.

Have you ever felt that you're leaving a tip out of karma? This was our experience! Idk the entire time everything felt off, or was it the server? $200+ for a dinner of 2, we shouldn't be left feeling like an afterthought.

I don't know this place calls itself the "Chef's Table" when in reality it's more of a "Chef's Mistake". Have you ever been to a place where you have your appetizers and immediately cancel your main order afterwards? Well this was the place for me.To start off, entering the restaurant, I can't really tell what vibe the place is going for. Is it trying to have a pub vibe, while blasting mid 2000s alternative rock? I wasn't really sure what to expect of the place, but I guess the dated interior matches the food that ended up being served. When entering I was greeted by the owner(s)? I'm assuming, they were nice and quickly got my party seated. We looked at the menu and placed our order for some appetizers and drinks and then we waited and waited some more and finally some food came (more on the food later) and then we didn't see our server again until sometime after where we decided we didn't want to order anything else.Onto the food, the menu proudly states that these are "items our guests have loved for over a decade" and well for most of this food it definitely feels like it was left out for a decade before being served to my party. Personally I had a french onion soup, this soup came out relatively quickly, like I mean they just went and scooped it into my bowl and served it to me. This soup was room temperature and barely had any warmth to it. I don't know about you, but when I order a soup, especially a french onion soup I want it hot (I need that delicious cheese pull from the soup) and most definitely want it as fresh as possible, none of which was achieved.I tried the brussel sprouts, they were very inconsistent, some of the brussel sprouts were undercooked or overcooked and they weren't seasoned. There was supposed to be a honey chili butter and I didn't taste that at all, usually when you overcook brussel sprouts a little bit, it'll suck up any sauce or juices you marinate it with, these sprouts were dry and uninspired, the maple bacon it came with was ok, but I ordered brussel sprouts not the other addons mixed in with it.My biggest disappointment and what was the final blow for me that made me want to leave and go somewhere else was the mini beef wellington trio. As someone who absolutely loves beef wellington and has had all kinds of amazing takes on beef wellington on top of cooking it myself, this was genuinely the worst take on beef wellington I have ever had. The puff pastry was borderline burnt, very dry and lacked any flavor, I didn't notice any duxelle and instead was stuck with what I would equate to a dry pulled pork with a demi glaze that lacked any glaze and instead tasted like burnt puff pastry. I had half of one and just left it, I had no interest in it. For almost $30? I'm better off going to publix and getting a freezer aisle beef wellington.Overall, I'm unsure if the actual Chef's Table experience is any good, but the tasting room needs a lot of work and is something I would recommend steering FAR away from. I really don't like giving such negative feedback, especially to a local business but I REALLY want to see restaurants like this one to succeed and I feel like offering my genuine opinion is the best way to achieve that. I did read some other reviews about declining food quality as well as accolades on the door of the restaurant being several years old and I can definitely imagine a point in time where this place probably served at a much higher caliber, but those times definitely seemed to have passed, or maybe I just came on a bad night, I don't know if I'll come back to find out.

Highly impressed by the staff, facility, food and immersive experience! This is a destination for those trying to impress a date or colleagues.I had the tomato salad, fillet, and crème brûlée. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in the area and that’s saying a lot with the level of competition surrounding the establishment!

Excellent food for brunch on a Saturday. Lovely historic place that was so interesting. It shares space with the Hotel. Great service. Not sure you could find a better place on a Saturday brunch. Highly recommended.

Tried out a few dishes, the duck fat fries were delicious, the shrimp and grits were my fav, and the spinach ricotta ravioli was awesome. Will come back for the prex fix menu.

Would have given the food a way higher rating had my flat bread not been so burned it was horrible. The cheese app, the bread, almost broke a tooth that was so hard. But I would go back when in town again to try it again. Next time, I will book some seats with the chef. I think that is probably where it's at.

We've lived in Winter Garden for over 30 years - why did we wait so long to visit this place? No excuse! The service was excellent - Jeff was our server and he was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The food was beyond amazing - every single bite! We recommend the wine pairing for your meal - so worth it! The Chef's Table is definitely at the top of our favorites list of restaurants. We can't wait to return!

What a delight to kiss 59 goodbye and turn 60. Everything was delicious. Impeccably prepared food that is not run of the mill. Attentive, thoughtful service. Celebrate your special occasion here. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us❤️

Was great a place with a nice and welcoming feeling. The food was okay. The drinks are good. I tried the beef wellington and smoked fish dip from the “tasting room” menu. My drink of choice was the galaxy and trains. Would definitely go back and try their 3 course chef dinner and see if the food is of higher standard.

The food is amazing, service was on point (Thank you Ryan) and the whole experience was well worth traveling two hours on date night. Thank you for the experience, I am sure we will be back!

This was our second time visiting. We definitely enjoyed the first visit more than this one. While our server was sweet, nice, etc; we felt as though our service took FOREVER. Two tables were sat after us and they received their food (and were waited on) well before we were. My husband opted for the wine pairing with his dinner and she never brought the wine for his second course. We had to flag her down to get it and he was finished eating by then. The waiting time between courses and simply being tended to was much too long for our liking.

This was my first experience at Chef's Table, but I had heard many good things. The staff was excellent, Jeffrey was a very knowledgable waiter and his recommendations were on point. The food was absolutely amazing
