I'm writing this review somewhat heavy-hearted, as I recount my recent dining experience at Gochi Japanese Restaurant in Winter Garden. A place that had previously wowed me with its food and service fell quite short this time around. My 10-year-old daughter and I decided to revisit Gochi after a memorable dinner experience we had 3 years ago. We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was a positive start. The restaurant has transitioned to a digital menu, which was accessible by scanning a QR code on the table - a change that we were comfortable with. Our waitress, Nayeli, was amiable and took our orders without any issues. However, I was quite disappointed when my food arrived before my daughter's. As a parent, I would have preferred if my daughter's meal was served first, or at least if they had brought her miso soup ahead of my meal.My selection for the night included Dynamite Sushi, Spicy Salmon Seaweed Salad, and Takoyaki. The Dynamite Sushi was amazing. But my experience with the Spicy Salmon Seaweed Salad was far from pleasant. I discovered a fish bone in my salad not once, but twice, which ruined the dish for me.My Takoyaki, on the other hand, was deep-fried - a preparation method that I was unaccustomed to and found unsatisfactory.Furthermore, our waitress was noticeably absent throughout our meal and didn't check on us until we were nearly finished. To add to our frustration, our water glasses were empty for a good portion of our meal and were not refilled. In light of these experiences, I find it hard to recommend Gochi Japanese Restaurant. Our dinner was a letdown, and it's disheartening to see such a dip in the quality of experience compared to our previous visit. I truly hope they can regain their charm and attention to detail that they once had.
First time at their new location and very happy to see the quality is still excellent! Salad, dumplings and sushi were top notch! Can’t wait to go back and try more offerings!!
The rolls were really tasty, I'd even say delightfully delicious. My wife and I often enjoy sushi and rolls. I would definitely come back to this place. However, we live in Miami and just stopped by for lunch on the way. There's a huge parking lot. The dining area is clean, with plenty of space. The service is friendly and fast. We really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

Went for lunch with my husband. We had deep fried pork gyoza, some raw rolls, nigiris and sashimis. Great food, quick and great service. Will come back for sure!

Every time I come, I leave so stuffed amd satisfied. The staff is efficient and respective to needs. If you are looking for a place to get noodles, fried rice, sushi rolls, teriyaki beef, or amazing alcoholic drinks, this is the place. Check out their menu and come visit. You won't be disappointed! Oh and while everyone was helpful, Summer handled out group of picky eaters with grace and Kyoko was there anticipating our next needs.Vegetarian options: Friend Rice, sushi rolls, noodles, and Krabi Rangoon.
Very fresh fish, perfect rice, and great attention to detail. The food is authentic and so very tasty!

It was ok. Went on a weekday, and they seemed under staffed. My section was waited on by the bartender! Poor sap didn't know which way to run. So now, we're waiting forever for service, and for anything to come out. Not impressed.I'll be sticking with AJI, at Fowler's Grove.

I was excited to try a new Japanese restaurant that I've never been to. I got a bento box and my husband got ramen. The slower service was not anyone's fault other than the fact that there was only one guy working. The food was ok, I'd like to try the table bbq if I ever come back.
We were looking for a nice date night spot and we definitely found it. The reservation was easy to make, and the staff (Nayle) was extremely helpful and gave the best recommendations. The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up to my expectations. This is a must-try if you are looking for a nice cozy place for dinner.
