Food is great and full of flavor! We have tried the full buffet experience and gone in just for a single meal tapas style. Either option is great but it’s nice to just to come and eat a single meal.

I’ve been a regular customer at this place for quite some time and live nearby in Horizon West, so writing this review is disappointing but necessary. Our server, Rossana, took over 20 minutes just to come to the table for the initial greeting, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. When she finally arrived, the attitude was cold and dismissive, as if serving us was an inconvenience rather than part of her job. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first negative interaction we’ve had with her. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is becoming a pattern, and it reflects poorly on a restaurant that many of us in the neighborhood actually want to support. I hope management takes this seriously. Good restaurants lose loyal customers not because of the food, but because of how guests are treated.
I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time. We genuinely like the food and have visited many times over the years. However, tonight’s experience was so disappointing that we actually left without having dinner. The waitress who attended us, Rossana, treated us with clear disrespect and a lack of basic courtesy from the moment we sat down. Her attitude was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Instead of making customers feel welcome, she made us feel like we were a burden. This is not the first time this has happened with her. In fact, this was the second time she behaved this way toward my family, but tonight was by far the worst. Because of her behavior, we decided to leave the restaurant without ordering anything. I have lived in the United States for 6 years and I have honestly never experienced service like this before. What made the situation even worse is that there was no manager available to speak with or help resolve the situation. It is extremely disappointing because we truly enjoy the food here, but unfortunately the service we received tonight was unacceptable. Because of this experience, we will have to find another restaurant to go to. A place with good food should also have respectful staff, and unfortunately Rossana’s behavior completely ruined what used to be a place we enjoyed visiting with our family.
Totally unaccomadating for a vegetarian 8 year old child. Waiter was extremely rude Place is probably fine if you are all adults or have kids that will eat this type of food.

We dined here on New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was busy when we arrived. For an AYCE restaurant with a $54/pp price point for the premium menu, the food was average and the service notably very slow. Our first order took about 30 minutes to arrive and with a 90-minute dining limit, it was difficult to fully enjoy the meal. Guests are limited to ordering only two items per person per round before placing the next order, and each round took a considerable amount of time to arrive. It was challenging to flag down servers as staff were always busy at other tables. The automatic 18% gratuity applied for all AYCE menus did not reflect the food service time or quality of the food. It is unfortunate that our dining experience at Gyu-Kaku was somewhat disappointing and we will not be returning to this establishment.

Always a great experience, awesome service great food!
Delicious food and a great variety of dishes. My daughter really enjoyed cooking everything by herself. Highly recommend!

Bro. The server staff is just flat out bad. Food’s delicious when we finally got it. I swear they had to go hunt and kill the beef before we got it. Lesson learned. Never order the 90 min all you can eat. You’ll spend 75 of it waiting.

Phenomenal! We make a reservation for Gyu Kaku anytime we are in Orlando. We ordered a variety and each item was well seasoned and prepared well for us to finish on the grill. The harabi skirt steak and bibimaps were our favorites. Ivan was a patient server and even though he had multiple tables he frequently checked in with us on our needs. I would suggest doing the AYCE. It sounds intimidating however since the food isn't heavy you are able to sample more of their options.

Very disappointed with our experience. I booked a table for my mother-in-law's birthday, but when we arrived, we still had to wait another five minutes to be seated. After we ordered, the food took 45–55 minutes to come out. Some of the dishes were even brought to us still frozen. On top of that, the restaurant did nothing to acknowledge or celebrate the birthday, even though the reservation clearly mentioned it. Overall, it was a very frustrating and disappointing visit.
Management is horrible and rude
I love this establishment and often went to their nyc third Avenue location in nyc. However, the management needs to hire more staff because our server was the host, bartender and runner. This caused major delays in getting our order started and receiving our food. The server Nyo was very courteous and tried her best to provide top tier service in spite having to successfully manage to juggle the job that takes 2-3 people to do. Food was awesome I had the pork dumplings, calamari, yaki shabu, New York strip and garlic fried rice .
Food was great. Have fun playing with the open fire grill good conversations. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu.
It was our first time and thus a little confusing but we managed it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
