Great beer, awesome food, and a wonderful friendly staff. They do it right at Home State Brewing. It's comfortable.
The vibe is solid. The beer is great! They have good food options, and the outdoor space is pet friendly.
The location is great if you live in the Hamlin area because you can walk or ride there. It’s a pretty neat setup outside but a little too sunny during the day. The Home State beer was so/so. When we went they did have Frances Conner on draft which was exciting. The biggest downfall is that it is not family friendly like most breweries. Yes you see kids there but they make it pretty clear they don’t want them there. We were pretty bummed about that since we’ve taken our kids to amazing breweries all over the country (who embraced their family and pet friendly status).Nearby Persimmon Hollow and Crooked Can are better choices for people with kids and pups.
Updated review 2024: They have become more laid back with kids and cleaned up their outdoors area with pavers so you don’t get so dusty outside. Still not a favorite but we will meet here occasionally. The beer is not my favorite although they did have a Tripple once that was quite good however it’s off the menu now.
The service was great and the different beers made my day, i tried a couple but my favorita was Adults are talking.
I will definitely tell my friends and come back.
Home State Brewing Co might be my favorite brewery in Central Florida.
Their beers are always creative and tasty. The team here is amazing; everyone is super friendly and go out of their way to take care of their guests.
Lastly, the food is FANTASTIC! Their Chicago Dog is hands down my favorite thing here.
If you’re looking for a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with your friends and family, this is your place!
Good beer, good food, good vibe, friendly and thoughtful staff, easy parking. Perfect. I wish I didn't live over an hours drive away
Had a wonderful experience at Home State. We had a team dinner and played Jukebox Bingo. Such a fun time and great food and drinks. Thank you for hosting our team.
This place is one of my favorites in Orlando! The staff, beer, and ambiance is always 10/10. I love that there is a strong group of regulars that make it feel so welcoming to visit!
Came here with my parents and husband last weekend. We had 3 beers (1 of which was a non alcoholic can) , the pretzel, and a 3 sandwiches with chips. The beer and pretzel were great, but I would personally not get the sandwiches again. Nothing was bad, but the value was not there for a $110.
If you like feral children running around while their parents don't give a crap about anyone else having a nice time, then this is your place.

I finally got to go to this place with my wife. It wasn't anything like I expected. The inside looked like a lounge; I suppose a pub.
We didn't come for beer, but rather check out the food.
I tried a hot dog, wife had pulled pork, and we both had Mexican cokes. The hot dog was Chicago style. For me I skip the mustard and have ketchup. (I'm from Wisconsin, not Chicago) (If you ask for ketchup on your hot dog in Chicago they'll ask to leave) I took a little nibble of the sport pepper and set it aside. I left the pickle in the hot dog, took two bites and set it aside too. Now I'm down to a normal hot dog. The green relish was good. I was down to a very tasty hot dog. My wife said her sandwich met her approval.
One of our favorites!
Home state hosted a wedding welcome event for our out of town guests. They reserved our tables and had extra staff for all of our needs. They truly took care of us. The beer is fabulous with many different varieties. Food was tasty and came out quickly. Highly recommend frequenting this local brewery!
Bright, clean, friendly, but terrible food experience. Minimal menu. A bit overpriced. Pulled pork tasted like pure vinegar. My wife and I could not finish a small sandwich. I love Carolina style vinegar pulled pork, but this was just pure vinegar soaked pork. They offered to replace it, but by that time I was feeling bad. I’m not a complainer, but I had to nicely advise the server to not serve this to anyone else without revising the recipe.
This place is not it.... beers were ok, vibe was ok, but someone brought their kids who were lounging all over the couches unsupervised. Then around 1055 we headed in from the patio to pay our tabs to find out they had closed them already and added 20% like we had run out in our tabs. The place closed at 11. They had been wiping tables outside and never once asked us to come in to close out or say anything.
