If you’re looking for a pizzeria that nails it every single time, Giovanni’s is the place. I’ve been a loyal customer for 15 years, ever since they opened in Davenport—and now that they've set up shop in Winter Garden, I couldn’t be happier.

Let’s start with their subs. If you haven’t tried the toasted turkey sub with provolone, do yourself a favor and order it. The bread is perfectly crisp, the turkey is loaded up fresh, and the melted provolone on top ties it all together. Seriously, you won’t be disappointed.

Of course, Giovanni’s is all about the pizza—and theirs is exactly what you want when you think of a proper New York-style slice. The crust has just the right amount of chew, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese is always bubbling hot. The knots are just as good: pillowy, garlicky, and straight-up addictive.

Desserts here are also worth saving room for. Whether it’s a classic cannoli or a decadent slice of cheesecake, you can’t go wrong.

What really sets Giovanni’s apart, though, are the people. The owners are always there with a smile, chatting with customers like old friends. The whole staff is friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home for a family meal.

If you haven’t been to Giovanni’s yet, you’re missing out. This is the kind of neighborhood spot you’ll want to come back to again and again.
