Closed at 6:30? I don't think so. They close whenever they feel like it. So we never got to order anything.
We thought we would have a quiet Tuesday afternoon around the pool. Some food, some drinks. They were closed when we got there at 3pm.
I understand it wasn't a busy day, but what about the resort guests who are there? Do we not count?

I ordered yesterday at around 2:30 pm, I wait so long, no food. It's around 3:30pm and I start getting inpatient and I ask the worker Clarice why it's taking so long, they say to wait with hella attitude. 1

One server running the dine in experience was certainly not enough. Take out orders seemed to be moving quickly.Nachos (slop of American “queso”) were terrible; burger was alright, however the exceptionally long wait combined with high prices and an underserved auto-gratuity of 18% means that we will happily never come back.

Cianna was a wonderful bartender. To be honest, this was a highly equipped bar for a vacation destination. They were out of cocoa butters and the bartender quickly recommended a replacement and an additional suggestion. We appreciate the tequila and bourbon variety!
Shaunte was my server at the Waterpark and she was awesome. Extremely polite and helpful. I would give her a 10 if I could. One of the best servers I had. She went out of her way to explain the menu and give helpful suggestions. Way to go Shaunte!
Very nice clean place with lovely pools and water slides. The site has a shop with main essentials. Larger supermarket around 2 miles away. Very good restaurant on site and good bar. Good free bus service to all the Disney parks. Would certainly recommend and would go back again. Advice and to beware of: Nearest airport is MCO (Orlando International) MLB (Orlando Melbourne International airport) is 65 miles away with no transport to Resort apart from an expensive taxi service or Hire Car.
Pros: Rooms are apartment style and very comfortable. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living room are spacious. The kitchen contains the essentials and was a major plus - was able to stock up on foods for meals and snacks. The water park was perfect for my son (4 yo). He thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms also came with pool towels so no need to pack your own. The room also had a washer and dryer. Cons: The restaurants on site were extremely expensive (we took full advantage of having a kitchen in the room). The rooms per night I didn’t think were overly priced but once you add the daily resort fee and parking fee, I thought it was priced a little too high. It made it feel like there were hidden fees instead of just including it in the price per night. The cabana rentals in the water park were extremely expensive (more than the room per night). There were tons of umbrellas throughout and we got there early enough to sit under those (which are free). In the end, I’d stay here again especially if we’re planning on hanging in the hotel and especially while my kids are still young. Once the kids gets older, this water park may not be as fun for them.
My 8-year-old son wanted to fish. This was our 2nd year at The Grove and we didn't find the time during our first visit. This year we did. We were lucky enough to go when Steve was there. He was kind, helpful, and generous with his time. He was so knowledgeable about the resort, the surrounding area, and certainly about fishing. My son caught a sunfish. Steve showed him exactly what to do after reeling it in. It really made his day. My wife and I genuinely enjoyed our conversations with Steve and look forward to seeing him again during next year's visit.

This was our 3rd visit to The Grove and unfortunately things had definitely gone down hill. The apartment was not very clean when we arrived, we did have two cleans , one was terrible and we ended up asking for a brush to sweep the floors! The kitchen didn’t have enough utensils and we had no glasses, the whole apartment was very worn and tired looking and we had a superior one. It’s such a shame as The Grove used to be fab but more money needs to be spent on the upkeep of the whole place. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore to people I know and I won’t be returning.
We stayed as a family of 5 in a three-bedroom suite in August 2023. Overall, Grove Resort is a nice place. Our suite was spacious and clean on arrival and the reception staff and concierge were friendly and helpful. The pool facilities are good. There is a basic gym. There is a one-mile walking route around the complex with a pier if you fancy some exercise. Only gripes are that our suite was only cleaned once in a 10 night stay and even then I'm not sure they actually did much. Also they need to run inventory checks on kitchen items/utensils. There was no kettle and we had to ask for extra plates and cups etc. Not big issues, but we genuinely didn't feel the house keeping team did a great deal - the "bare minimum". We were staying to visit the Disney parks, all of which are about 20 mins Uber ride away, so Grove Resort is conveniently located.
JJ in the pool area was great, as well as Elaine. Jax was awesome on flo rider. Kids and adults all can have fun together! This place is a hidden gem and great for families. Also good for a variety of groups if you have different aged kids. Something for all!
Have stayed here before a few years back and returned for a short break after being emailed a great offer. Rose and Lexus helped me out getting it booked after some to and fro over email. All interactions were without fuss, which put my mind at rest I had chose the right place. The internal corridors do feel a little austere, but the rooms are great and spacious with all the amenities from home. Cooker, sink, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer and dryer etc. Special shout out to Jacks on the flowrider who was great with teaching me and my kids how to surf. It is $30 per person but it is actually a lesson and you will be better at it after your 30 mins than you were before
My husband and I went to the spa at this resort. We use a Groupon and I must say that they treated us amazing from Tiffany who book the appointments to Elba who took care of us on the day of the appointment. The therapist were Matthew and Nate they were the best!!! I would definitely recommend their spa to anyone it was a great experience.
