As always, a wonderful experience in a very up-market setting. Food and wine were wonderful and we were supremely attended to by Reggie with his usual entertaining banter. Owners Eddie and Crystal also stopped by for a chat. This location is a real go to if you are in Winter Garden or close by.

We went to the restaurant for my father's milestone birthday. Everything that was prepared on site was delicious. The appetizers were good and the steak was some of the best I have had in central Florida. What completely ruined the meal were the desserts that tasted like they came out of the back of the freezer. Based on everything we ate earlier in the meal, I would hope those were not made on property. We got the cheesecake and chocolate cake both around $20 each. I have never in my life had a dry cheesecake and did not even know that was possible. The cocktails were also very expensive for “offbrand” alcohol. To pay an average of $75 for each meal for entrée and appetizers and then pay $20 for desserts that tasted like a freezer ruined the entire experience. The restaurant was very quiet and perfect for conversation. The ambience looked like a TV set of an upscale restaurant and could be improved upon.

Overall great. First experience here and plan to return. Highlights were the lighting, playlist, host (Jennifer?), steaks, server (Mac?), wine program. 4+-star review so very good. Met the owners - very kind and personable. In general a killer meal 4.5/5 would recommend! We'll be back!

The servers are polite but need some grooming, young and inexperienced.. Didn't know anything about wine or how to answer basic questions. Senior staff needs to spend time with servers if they want an exceptional patron experience. Had an empty water glass for over 15min.. Filet was good..

Matthew’s Steakhouse offered me an amazing experience. I reserved an 8:30 time slot for my birthday, and while I was late about 20 minutes they were still very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, and if I lived in FL, I would return again and again. Thank you to the staff at Matthew’s for a memorable birthday celebration!!!

We were at Matthews Steakhouse for dinner and were disappointed with the slow service. We didn't see more than two waiters working; the guy who answered the door was also the waiter who served our tables. From the moment we ordered dinner, we waited an hour and 10 minutes before we started eating. The food was excellent quality, although the portions were small. The price is high, the food was excellent, but the slow service won't make us return.

Why 2 stars? Because the prices are truly out of this world. How in the world do they get away with charging astronomical prices? It’s truly insane. Ordered a martini, $20. Looked up the vodka they used, the entire bottle costs, $25. Paid $80 for five small scallops and a small portion of broccoli. Prices are truly ridiculous. And on top of everything they are a 3% credit card charge to the bill. The food does not justify the prices. I’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants which cost less and give you more food. Won’t ever go back.
