⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love what Chystal and Eddie have built here at Matthew’s Steakhouse with their amazing team! You can feel the passion and pride the moment you walk through the doors — from the warm, welcoming service to the incredible attention to detail in every dish. It’s clear they care deeply about creating not just a great meal, but a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet upscale, and the food? Next level. You can tell everything is prepared with heart. Proud to support such a genuine, hardworking local business. Keep up the amazing work!

Steaks and shrimp were excellent. Service was attentive. Wine list is overpriced at 3* markup.

Our service was great and the food and drinks were outstanding. We will definitely be back.

An excellent restaurant in a beautiful part of Orlando. Highly recommend as the food is of the highest quality and the service is superb

The drinks were way too expensive for the area. Our steaks were average at best. Not a horrible experience. Just over valued.

We had a great waitress, Nicole, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The manager stopped by a couple of times to check in. Food presentation and taste was pure perfection.

Fantastic food and service! Tomahawk Pork chop with red wine reduction was so good. Filet was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Lobster bisque was great - fyi not a traditional super creamy bisque and it's a bit peppery (just for info, loved it). Risotto was wonderful. Crab cake was yuuge and tasty. Highly recommend

Always outstanding! The food is so flavorful and delicious. I had the stuffed pepper last night from the summer menu and it was amazing. Highly recommend

Our server was excellent, she was smart and polite. However, the wine menu was confusing and obviously quite pretentious. The food was average, and some items were terrible including the risotto which was actually cold actual rice. No cream, and obviously not cooked correctly. It literally was plain brown rice. The wines were very short pours as well. My steak was cooked well, but was a small cut, and not a quality cut for the money. I mean if it was a chain restaurant it would be fine, but at almost $400 for 2 people with that quality food it was very disappointing. It was also a Friday night, and at 8pm there was only one other table in the entire place, yet all the other restaurants in the complex were PACKED. That pretty much says it all.

We love supporting local businesses whenever possible and Matthew's Steakhouse is probably our favorite local spot! The steaks are the best in Florida; the owners are extraordinarily nice; the staff is helpful and on-top of everything; and the restaurant is very simply elegant. To top all this off, they don't use ANY garbage seed oils - only EVOO in everything! For us, this place is just perfect - close to home, they know your name and make sure your experience is special, and the food is great. If you haven't been to Matthew's Steakhouse, do yourself a huge favor and book a reservation (you'll need one, as they tend to fill up most nights)!

Our server Alejandro was very attentive. The issue was the ribeye steak. First time it was overcooked and the chef apologized and cooked another one and it was cooked properly but the cut of the steak was terrible as it had a lot fibrous tissue and we couldn't enjoy it.

In a city with as many dining choices as Orlando, the only thing that was special or differentiating about Matthew's Steakhouse were the prices. It was a good solid meal and venue, but it wasn't the "elevated" experience we were expecting. There are too many fine dining options in Orlando for us to go back.

We went to Matthew's to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were greeted promptly upon arrival we had an outstanding waitress with Monroe who made our experience very special. Our meal was great and also the wine was great as well. We will be going again!

The service at first was bad , I sat at the table for about 30 minutes before being helped I felt like me and my other guest were being racially profiled . Food was good overall. This was a one and done experience

It was our 33 year anniversary & we were so looking forward to going to Matthew's for our celebration. Wow, I promise we are not complainers. My Husband grew up in Italian Restaurant's his family owned in New Orleans & I have been a Bartender for 49years. You take the good with the bad in this buisness, sometimes under staffed and such. Sometimes the food is great and the service, not so great, or vice versa. We spend good money and we are not cheap. Although I have to say, this was probably one of the worst experiences at a fine dining restaurant. We had an early reservation 630. They're only open from 5 till 10. We weren't seated ten minutes before the server was trying to rush us to get wine, to get appetizers, to get food. On special occasions like this, it doesn't matter how much anything is.We love trying new places. Although when I''m celebrating a 33 year anniversary, we're going to get wine, we're going to have appetizers, we're going to have a nice dinner, and we want to take our time and enjoy. That was not the case. What we didn't know was he had an eighteen top coming in, and he could give a d*** about us. Never came back to see if we wanted any wine or anything, didn't even come to see if we were happy with the meal. Once our steaks and potatoes came out. He didn't even come to see if I wanted a red wine with it. I only had one white wine and had to grab him to get another one. And they weren't even busy, it was just an eighteen top that was coming in, we were out his picture. He came to the table once we were all done and said, I seen you were looking at the dessert menu. I told him immediately. We don't want anything else. And then he came with the camera and said, we can give you a complimentary pic. We could have dealt with poor service if the food would've at least been good. Ruined my whole anniversary. Does this happen all the time, I doubt it. But $300 of bad service and a steak I could have gotten at longhorn is unacceptable. Never Again.
