I'm giving 2 stars today. I love pollo tropical, the chicken is normally juicy and the rice delicious, but today I am disappointed because I came in when it wasn't busy at all. One person in line in front of me and he had issues with ordering/charges. I too had the same issues as he tried to charge me $3.00 for a wager but I pointed it out and after 2 attempts with the help of the manager it was fixed. The staff was very unprofessional walking around and talking loud/cussing in front of customers while I waited 15 minutes to order when they had a second register. This time the chicken was burnt and the rice was sticky/gummy. There was sauce all over the counter. A girl with a boot on kicked a high chair across the floor as she hollered excuse me and then proceeded to yell across the restaurant to her coworker to sweep the floor because a lady complained. Seems like it was for a good reason. I hope things get better because I do love this place, but if it continues like this I can't spend my money here.

Went in here one night and the place was filthy! The salad bar was unkempt and they consistently got my order wrong (one star). So, what's wrong with this picture. First, I ordered. Then, I surveyed the place. Now, go back to my opening statement. Needless to say, I just grabbed my food and left only because I had already paid for it. The other star was for customer service as I felt like the people were genuinely trying to help, but felt like they were overwhelmed and understaffed. A sense of sorrow came over me as I watched the staff struggle with orders. Another observation, the uniforms were soiled and unkemp. Full disclosure: I went near closing and to the staffs position, they looked beat. The restaurant business is tough. Truly, the staff deserves five stars when all said and done as they did a remarkable job trying to hold it together. Ultimately, management is responsible for restaurant cleanliness and the accuracy of orders. Unfortunately, I have not been back since that fatal night, but do plan to return in hopes that I can observe a since of normalcy. I am still a big fan of the grilled chicken.

Today the crew was very efficient and Courteous. Food came out with hardly any waiting. No forks in the dispenser.

Place is a good spot to eat at. I enjoyed the meals here. They are all natural and delicious. Clean and good atmosphere. I just saw it driving by and decided to check it out and the colors around the place gives it a nice setting to chill and eat. They have a sauce station which you can choose what you want on your food from Mild to spicy. Prices are not bad either so it's definitely worth a try.

This is the best Pollo Tropical around in my experience. This store has never dissaapointed me, despite many of the others falling short, typically due to employee errors like forgetting to put your side's in your bag. The employees here have always exceeded my expectations, and the food has continuously done the same. Maybe I've gotten lucky with this specific location, or maybe they're just that good :] Thanks so much guys, and keep it up!
