I've been to the café countless times and on Tuesday the 18th, I went with a group of 12 friends. I ordered the Creme Brûlée coffee and the salmon quiche. When the coffee arrived at the table, I commented that they didn't have that crunchy topping and the attendant was super rude, saying that the coffee has always been like that and she made an ugly face and throughout the evening service she remained frowning and unwilling to being helpful without asking if I wanted to exchange it for another item or offering to fix the mistake.
The quiche was burnt on top. I even took a photo.
It's unbelievable that the company doesn't train its employees to be at least kind.

Avoid and go somewhere where they don't give the impression you are interrupting their day.

Don't usually post reviews but on this occasion it is required. There would have been no stars but have to award one to post a review.

Been here once before and was OK. This time it was awful service.

Two hot coffees were served cold and were taken away to be replaced but this merely amounted to microwaving and returning the original beverage.

Third coffee never actually turned up until chased nearly 30 minutes later.

Tea was served with a dirty cup. Asked for a replacement cup and this was only marginally better than the first - they need to check their dishwasher and cups before giving their "clean cups" out as this is simply unhygienic.

A real shame as a great location but we won't be back again.

Worst service we have experienced in years. Ordered 2 lattes, 1 hot tea and one black coffee. Not that busy but waited 15 minutes for 1 latte that was cold and the tea. The tea cup still had a residue of the previous milky drink. The 2nd latte arrived which was also cold. When we told the server, this was reheated in the microwave. The black coffee did not arrive. I went in to query, no apology, just “we’re busy, I’ll bring” They didn’t. Also, plates on adjoining tables not cleared in entire time we were here. Avoid

Let me start by saying, this was our first time at this establishment. My husband and I woke up and he wanted to try a restaurant that was new to us. We've seen this restaurant several times when we're downtown Winter Garden and were excited to try it. We went in and ordered. The lady at the register looked as if she didn't want to be there and made us feel as if we weren't welcomed. We notified her that it was our first time there and she looked as if she didn't care. We ordered, sat down and waited for our order. As we were sitting little gnats were flying by our faces. The lady that brought the food to the table didn't have a
Welcoming disposition as well. When she placed the plates on the table, the gnats were flying around our food and beverages. Our hot beverages were absolutely delicious but were NOT HOT at all. Only room temp. My husband ordered French Toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The French Toast was delicious, the Bacon was fantastic and the eggs had no taste. Though they have shelled eggs, ordering scrambled shelled eggs is not an obtion, only poached. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard from a restaurant. I ordered the veggie quiche with fruit parfait. It was flavorless as well. I wanted my husband to taste the quiche. As soon as I turned my plate for him to reach the quiche, he noticed a hair in the middle of my plate. He asked if it were mine. I laughed and told him, if the hair was straight and thick, it would've been my hair but the hair in the middle of my plate was thin and curly. We notified Lindsey of the hair and she was nice and brought a new order. Lindsey's disposition was very pleasant and welcoming. The new quiche was burnt on top and the bottom crust was doughy and not cooked through. Last but not least, before we left, a customer came in with a Beautiful black puppy. That dog was so adorable. Before the customer ordered, she picked her dog up and the ladies at the register/counter were pettng the dog, and the dog was licking their hands and they were all were extremely happy for the dog's presence. There was a guy behind the customer that was holding the dog. As soon as his hot beverage was ready, one of the employees that was petting the dog and letting the dog lick her hand, reached around, pick up the guy's hot beverage and handed it to him without washing her hands. That IS NOT acceptable in the food industry. Based on our experience, we will likely not return to this establishment but again, Lindsey was Great!

If you are going to let your closing staff wear earbuds and listen to music when they close, sweep and drag furniture across concrete floors- please let them know how LOUD and OBNOXIOUS that is to patrons.

warm place, but pastry that seems to have been impregnated with household product, therefore inedible

Amazing food and probably the best cappuccino I’ve ever had. It’s unfortunate that everything is so expensive ($16 for a sandwich is wild) but I love the vibe of the cafe itself so it’s worth it.

First timer. Food was a little pricey but EXCELLENT. Asked server to wipe table and never did. Not wanting to dine on a dirty table, we took care of it. If I had known of the set-up (we have to get our own water, napkins, take plates/utensils to station, order and pay at register, clean table, etc...) the tip would have been less. Nice little place. I may go back to try the pastries...

Beautiful place and very welcoming. Ordered a delicious French sweet with blackberry, outstanding.
Also had the Nutella smores, a sweet and warm drink. But didn’t taste at all like Nutella, disappointing.

I have been here twice, one of those time was valentine's day, and both time I was so impressed by the atmosphere and food. So yummy and just the perfect place for a date or meeting with friends. It is pricey so just know that prior. The board is enough to share.

I knew I was in for a treat when the girl at the register didn't bother to say good morning back, which I later found out is the "manager", because she had to issue my refund.

The latte arrived cold. I asked the food runner (tall skinny black girl) to remake it. It was obvious that she forgot that after 30 minutes went by, she kept putting her head down when she walked by me.

It seems that they were more concerned about who was going out that night for drinks. Based on the conversation I heard while getting a refund.

Update: It appears the writing is on the wall after reading so many consistent, negative reviews. We have been frequenting this location since it first opened. Sadly, it has turned touristy and now lacks attention to detail. $27 for 2 coffees and 2 mediocre pastries that tasted like they came from Cotsco. From what I have observed, the money is mainly coming from tourists who are on a "high" and rating like there is no tomorrow. The quality of food needed to attract locals during a quieter season and needed for repeated customers is no longer a concern. We both left a good portion of our pastries on the plate. Our croissant was partially uncooked, and it lacked considerable flavor. Our french press had to be made twice, and both times, it tasted like we were on ration for beans. It was watery and undrinkable. The cost, of course, is an issue, but one can not consider an appropriate cost when it is something I wouldn't pay to eat. There are much better places to have a meal around town, but you won't find me giving away secrets. We need some businesses to stay true to the locals.

Their products are tasty and of quality however customer service is lost when the place is full. My last 2 visits have not been good, the coffee was almost cold.
