Great place to stop by for ice cream while strolling or hanging out along Plant Street in Winter Garden. Hours are somewhat limited and the line can be long but service is fast and courteous. And who doesn't enjoy an ice cream treat that is reasonably priced?

The ice cream is good, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. However, the line can get really long and moves VERY slowly. I wish they would reopen the inside - the window service is not at all efficient having just one place to order, pay, wait, and receive your ice cream.
Also be warned, the hours are limited. Typically only open Thursday through Sunday 1pm to 7:45 or 8:45 depending on the day.

Lazy employees and incompetent management deny people entry to the line well before closing as they don’t feel like staying open until their designated closing time. They also serve second rate ice cream. Skip this hack of an establishment and go somewhere else!

We love Scoops and their ice cream but they are never open. They are closed 3 days a week, close early and turn customers away. Sad to have a good ice cream spot in WG be closed after dinner time or not available for a summer ice cream treat.

A great day with my Pastor and his wife. Had an amazing time walking down Winter Garden, and Scoops just made it better!!
Parking: It’s hard to find parking. I personally just find a huge parking lot and walk there. It’s also more enjoyable to walk there.

We all love the Hershey ice cream and the owner and staff are great, would really like to see them open it back up so that you can go inside to order and receive your ice cream.

I am very disappointed with scoops. Not because of the ice cream. The ice cream is really great but the customer service really sucks. I brought me & my family 3 weeks in a row to get ice cream only to be turned away. I just left there and I got here at 8:25 & there was a young girl at the end of the line that said we couldn't get in line because they close at 8:45. But we were there by 8:25. I explained to her that this was the 3rd week we've come and was turned away & we traveled a long way to get there and she totally didn't care and said she sorry but she's not letting no one in the line because they want to close on time at 8:45. I just think that was terrible and I really don't want to use the race card but we were the only African Americans there for 2 weeks in a row. I am a business owner and for the sake of keeping my customers happy, I may bend a little here and there but this young lady couldn't care less how far I traveled or that I was turned away 3 weeks in a row. Also I've worked in sales many years and I never heard of a business closing it's doors 20 min before their actual closing times. As much as I love the ice cream I don't think I will be visiting again.

The ice cream served here is not old fashioned as the name of the store states, very unfortunate to have a small business in our beautiful downtown Winter Garden that doesn’t have ice cream made with clean simple ingredients. The workers let me know the ice cream is all ordered from Hersheys.Hershey’s posted ingredients for vanilla ice cream:NONFAT MILK, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, WHEY, COCOA, CREAM, MALTODEXTRIN, MONO & DIGLYCERIDES, LOCUST BEAN GUM, CELLULOSE GUM, GUAR GUM, FOOD STARCH, POLYSORBATE 80, CARRAGEENAN, CALCIUM CARBONATE, & VITAMIN A PALMITATE.
